John I. Dent Cup 2017 - ACT Premier Rugby

There have been prob 5-6 guys in the 2nd grade side that have played 1st or 2nd grade throughout the season - Jones this year has been apart of the 1st and 2nd grade sides - not a perm member of 1st grade. Still don't get the issue?? He's a 1st/2nd grade player - playing 2nd grade? As...

Jones didn't end up playing today - he's been out for most of the season and maybe played 2-3 2nd grade games and 2-3 1st grade games - def has not been a perm member of the 1st grade side this year. He will more than likely play next week I'd say due to Qbns No.8 sustaining a knee injury...

I always thought the rule was if you started a game with uncontested scrums it was an automatic forfeit but if during the game you do not have capability to continue with a contested scrum you were able to go to uncontested without it impacting the result of the game.

Think he might be injured - saw him watching the game in Saturday. Swain I think is the most underrated centre/back in the comp - he's always been very solid ever since juniors. The red head centre was a gun also.

From what I can see Adam is well-respected and I don't think he needs to move on - what I saw from the Whites First Grade side this year is that they were just a bit one dimensional - always close to being that really dynamic side they were last year but just a bit of the mark. I think bringing...

Watched both games on the weekend. Royals V Tuggeranong - Great game to start with and I was starting to think not about Royals winning but how many points they can put on Tuggers - in the first half I thought they were just going to run away with it and put 50-60 on the Viks. Royals didn't...

East 12 - Whites 26 Yo guys - been crazy busy with work and was away for a while so haven't been able to be very active on here. Watched the Easts V Whites game on the weekend - as I expected Whites rested a lot of players - prob 5,6,7 normal 1st Graders out of the 1st XV - with a number of...

Royals 41 - Wests 18 Vikings 76 - Easts 0 Queanbeyan 33 - Uni-Norths 23 Queanbeyan played extremely well yesterday considering they are still an under-strength squad/club at the moment - with still a number of players out or guys like Oj Noa who have left the club mid-season. Sok was back...

Do you think Uni could be a bit of a dark horse and knock off the Whites in the top 4?

Also on a side note - was very interested to see Siope Neata play for Whites 3rd Grade side yesterday at No.8 - he has been a long time 2nd grade player/bench 1st grader for the Vikings at No.8. He is a decent player to have regarding depth if he sticks around for the season at the Whites - I...

Last weekend in the Royals V's Queanbeyan game Staniforth and Cusack really laid the foundation for their go forward - but in the Queanbeyan game they were also missing Sione and Muirhead as they were on tour with the Brumbies. I believe Cusack played for the Royals yesterday. I do agree that...

Whites probably played the best rugby they have all year today - I think they really stepped it up and was very pleasing to see. As Istanbul mentioned Nadruku was in better form, and Liam Moseley (the young 10) is getting better and better every game - he controlled the game very well today...

Yea mate basically the Gungahlin and Wests games are MUST wins - I think if they drop either of them/or both it could nearly be the end of their season. Totally agree V resting guys like Penca in the Easts game/s - I think an injury to Penca could also nearly mean the end of their season.

    Southern Inland Rugby 2017

Cheers mate - if it's in Canberra that would be great - very keen to see Southern Inland play. I believe FSC won 31-7 V's Monaro yesterday. Cheers for the feedback re: Angus - this could just be the reason - Queanbeyan were pretty close to getting the chainsaw out on him on the weekend haha

Hey mate - got this from 'yourmatesam' on the Southern Inland thread Re: Angus - might be the reason he moved; "I believe Angus' employer is the physio that works with Royals, which would make sense. Royals have also had a strong connection to the Riverina in recent years."

That ladder looks terrible haha - but you get the idea. Queanbeyan have now been knocked out of the Top 4 - so this weekend's game is a MUST win for them to get back in - and with Wests playing Easts you could nearly bet your house Wests wont be moving.
