Lakapi Samoa just had a 100 Yr 'celebration' and did not invite quite a few ex-players. So corrupt.....

    Argentina v Australia, 8am Sunday 1 Sep (AEST) - TRC Round 3

I wonder if he actually doesn't want it... not everyone wants to be captain no matter how good they are.

Nah....Valetini is on his own at that level right now. If only JS could clone him so he could play 8 AND 6....

The 30 best rugby players in 2024

This list is obviously not based on Test performances - which is the yardstick of who the 'best' players are. There is no way anyone would pick Skelton over either Barretts or Matera let alone Kolisi or Marx. That's just silly. No way Will Jordan would be that high on the list either...

Super Rugby form is the only form that Joe can really go by.

    Australian Rugby / RA

You have to be able to pay that extra 20% of the jobs and the Rebels showed that it simply wasn't viable. The Rebels are gone. They were not competitive in any aspect of the professional rugby environment...time to move on. Like the players and coaches seem to have done....

    New Zealand Rugby Team Watch

Yeah...this is the thing. No first time international coach has any experience or Test credentials to show, how do you know if someone is 'the best'? Can the AB coach only be selected from coaches who have coached internationally elsewhere prior?

    Wallabies 2024

You forgot... nowhere near as good. Skelton has been on the Test scene for a decade and has never been considered in the elite level of guys like Etzebeth, Whitelock, Itoje or Rettalick but you're comparing him to one of the best AB locks in the modern era - a guy who was known for his work...

    2024 Rugby Championship

I proposed 2 hypotheticals and both are very realistic. The Wallabies could beat the Boks and the ABs could also beat them at home. Like they have plenty of times. For all the hype about these being the best 2 teams in the world, if the Boks aren't dominant during TRC, it will show how tight...

    2024 Rugby Championship

For all the debate in recent weeks of the SA v Ireland Tests deciding who is the No.1 team in the world, if SA don't win TRC, should they still be considered in Top 2? (Taking the World rankings out of it for a minute.) If the Wallabies can beat the Boks during TRC, if the ABs beat them at...

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

They don't have the stadium to do it. I was talking to someone who is connected in Fiji and I suggested that moving the Super Round away from Melbourne to Fiji would be awesome. He agreed but said that the ground there simply wouldn't be able to handle that much rugby. I'm sure MP (Moana Pasifika) would love...

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

I have LONG been a proponent on the NZRU changing it's policy to allow ABs to be selected from any Super Rugby franchise but this particular case is not really anywhere close to them taking on a 6th side. Ardie has expressed that he feels that playing for the MP (Moana Pasifika) is the best way can contribute and 'give...

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

But this isn't normal. There is no club for a Rebel player to stay in Melbourne for. Players aren't getting asked to move on a whim. The club these players were contracted is broke. If these guys are serious about being professional rugby players, they will hav to move - be it Sydney, Brisbane...

    U16 schoolboy rugby

Brumbies played at Viking Park last year. I'm sure a lot of the other states played at smaller grounds as well. I think the stadiums will be too big.

    Wallabies 2024

The competitiveness of Test rugby now is awesome. Hard to see teams going on an 18 game win streak with how even countries are now.

    U16 schoolboy rugby

Hey all....just a quick question.... How many games would an U16 player have in a season for their school/club?

    Australian Rugby / RA

I do agree with this. I think if the only option left for a Rebels is to go to Sydney, they should get a little extra to compensate for the increase in living costs. If they don't want to do this and choose to play club over Super Rugby, that's when I think RA should play hard ball. There are probably...
