    Subbies 2023!

I think that Subbies could have look at a 10 club premier division in 2024. Start division 1 the same weekend as everyone else and you have a two round overhang at the end. to relegate a club that finished sixth, and did not forfeit a game, while ignoring the fact that two other clubs did, and...

    100% they should.

    Waratahs 2024

I think by the end of the season, we'll see Jake Gordon fighting with Jack Grant for the 21 jersey.

    Subbies 2023!

Genuine question for clubs and those running it: One of the big drivers and incentives for sponsorship has been the ability to promote the Cluch/NSW Rugby TV footage. Given the recent information about this being influx, are clubs still including it as part of their sponsorship plans for 2024?

    U16/U19 Competition 2023

I think we need to remember that this is under 19s while colts is under 20s, so it’s likely a number of players don’t qualify. Let’s be thankful that kids are getting these opportunities because the league system will swallow them up

    Subbies 2023!

This has been an issue since the introduction of Colts at the 12:45 timeslot. When we first started colts, it was at 10:45am, making it easier for the grade back ups. I'd like to see us consider the colts timeslot.

    Subbies 2023!

Now that NSW Rugby have centralized as part of RA, maybe our tokenistic payments made to NSW Rugby will be removed and our fees to players reduced

    Subbies 2023!

Sorry, it should have read Post-COVID composition of the Board. I've said it many times in here that I think the Subbies board is not reflective of Western Sydney and we have a chance to make up huge ground here. Maybe Woody has some ideas - I know he has traded off some of mine before, and I...

    Subbies 2023!

I’ve given it thought, but already someone from my club on the board. Plus, I think the whole structure of Subbies, including the composition of the Board, needs a rethink and to be more in line with the 21st century nature of the Subbies rugby landscape

    Subbies 2023!

We have asked a number of times for this to be the case, as our players find it so difficult. The fact that we train on Wednesday night and our volunteers/committee all assist with coaching and training make it near impossible. Unfortunately, I believe that, at times, Subbies has not moved...

Shame about their head coach. Great guy, good rugby man. Will be missed.

    Subbies 2023!

Andrew Cox, one of their star third grade players, has been announced as the 1st Grade Colts coach at the Two Blues, so it will be interesting to see if he manages to coach and play. My guess is that the 3rd grade premiership might see him hang up the boots or go back to playing 4s at Two Blues.

    Subbies 2023!

Geographically, Division 1 split by the harbour Pool A: Colleagues, Waverley, St Pats, Drummoyne, Petersham Pool B: Blue Mountains, Lindfield, Hunters Hill, Forest, Mosman Division 2 much more of a shitfight Pool A: Hills, Epping, Briars, Harlequins, UNSW Pool B: Valley, Beecroft, Barker, Knox...

    Subbies 2023!

Here's an idea. I think it might work. Each division is 10 clubs divided into two pools. Pools decided by standing on Cowboy Cup ladder DIVISION 1 (4 grades & Colts) POOL A: Lindfield, Drummoyne, Blue Mountains, Mosman, Forest POOL B: Colleagues, Hunters Hill, Waverley, St Pats, Petersham/UNSW...

    Subbies 2023!

That makes no sense, given Luke Smart and Waldo Wessels played fourth grade at Southern Districts and first grade at Blue Mountains.

    Subbies 2023!

Very good takes on both of these clubs. You know you are in for a day when playing UNSW, but feel like you could be in the contest. For Iggies, the hope is that they haven’t lost the connection to the school. But being in a similar location, the rugby playing clientele just does not exist. To be...

    NSW AAGPS 2024

After watching Marshall Le Maitre in the Gen Blue program at the end of the year and some of the snippets from this year, it’s going to have to be an absolute gun to beat him for the 7 jersey.

    Subbies 2023!

I think there is merit to the proposed structure from WoodyWoodsman, and for UNSW, I could see the move being potentially a good one. I think Subbies will be wary of the Newport situation from this year. While I think Newport could definitely fit the mould, if I'm Subbies, I want some assurances...
