I think the bad luck was more about players understanding how to manage that situation. Tom Goddard and Harry Snook are both quality players, and Josh Hickey is great off the bench. I wonder if they had the strong voice guiding and directing play. An old head. They will learn from it and build.

Yeah, it's a bit unsettling for those postponing today. Midweek games sound good, but can be challenging. Playing Saturday-Sunday is a nightmare

Mark Soden (ex-Bears RL) played for Terrey Hills last year. I think John Hopoate had a run around. We’ve got the famous Balmain run with Drew Mitchell, Matt Giteau, Ryan Cross and Sebastian Chabal. Charlie Gamble played at Petersham as did Chris Bell. That’s just off the top of my head
