No Padua players in the starting 15 is strange considering their big win, winger scored an excellent try. Also, a few more SLC players could have made it too.

Both Padua and Laurie’s have been very impressive this year. For this weekend I think Laurie’s will come out on top with an 8 point win. They play the most disciplined rugby out of all the teams. They will try and keep Padua pinned in their half and look for errors. It will be interesting to...

They used to run Qld schoolboy trials at the end of term 2, would have a weeks camp and then play the national schoolboys champs in the holidays. All schools were involved and Qld did pretty well. Now the unions want control it has taken away a lot from the schoolboy pathway in my view.

In the AIC comp rules if a team has a certain number of players missing for rep teams the game must be moved. You’d think that running the U18’s State Champs at the end of week 9 would make more sense.
