    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Georgia, SdF Sunday 10th September 2am

If we were going to carry a player in the 15 solely for their goal kicking I'd pick Hodge over Donaldson 7 days a week. You just get the feeling that every decision Jones has made has been more about preparing young guys for the next world cup, rather than winning the current one. really hope...

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Georgia, SdF Sunday 10th September 2am

i have low expectations but at this stage there's nothing to do but get behind the team 100%

    Wallabies 2023

Foketi can play 10? So if gordon goes down injured in the first half we're basically fucked? Seems to me like eddies only option is to include donaldson in the 23 in every game. I think the idea that we wont need to rely heavily on our back up 10 is fraught with danger particularly given that...

    Wallabies 2023

Just curious, if donalson isnt in the 23, who plays 10 if gordan goes down injured?

    Wallabies 2023

Honestly the no back up 10 seems crazy...i actually wouldnt feel as pessimistic if hodge was chosen in place of donaldson. Hodge at least has some track record for taking the reigns at test level and playing well... but donaldson?! Am i to understand that donaldson will be on the bench in every...

    Wallabies 2023

Honestly my best guess is that he wants other rugby league converts to see that if they make the jump to rugby theyll get to go to the world cup....would be harder to make that sell if suli was left at home

    Wallabies 2023

This squad has the smell of a coach that thinks its more realistic to just start planning for 2027... I dont hate it but there's some strange selections. Skelton captain? Donaldson's selection has Steven Bradbury vibes

    Wallabies 2023

IMO neither Slipper nor Hooper should be starting and neither should have been named captain. It was a dumb idea and honestly I got the impression that Eddie has moved on. I'm assuming Tate is the starting Captain for here on out.

I think if M Hooper is fit you have to have him in your squad. That said, part of me secretly hopes he miss out due to injury. I strongly believe McReight is a better player than him at this point and i worry that Hooper will continue to get the nod over mcreight in the big games.

    Wallabies 2023

I honestly cant fathom how donaldson could be being considered for the squad. At this stage of his career, he's an average super rugby 10 at best and frankly a shit back playing in any other position. How could he be considered a utility? Im not a big connor fan, but's a much better ulility back...

    Bledisloe 2 2023 @ Dunedin 12:35PM Sat 5 Aug

Finally got a chance to watch the game. Enjoyed it. We really should have won that game but my overall feeling was that it was nice to see the Wallabies really looking like a top tier team for most of the game, even if we werent able to sneak a win. There has clearly been a bit of learning on...

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

For me Lonergan should be in the 23. Might not be the best at scrum time but his work around the field is excellent and he provides a genuine threat at the ruck. I'm not sold on Hooper as 7. I think McReight offers more in nearly every aspect of the game, save for big game experience and...

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

Playing watered down sides in july is nothing new. The reality is that there aint much difference between a 2nd string boks side and a 1st string boks side (compared to a 2nd string wales or australia side). To suggest otherwise is just meaningless media spin..a win would be huge, a loss would...

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Really? I watched the game last night and admittedly dont really know any of the players that well and he was one of the guys that stood out to me as being an impact player. I can only assume the expectations for him are high. I thought he had some really good moments, most noticably a big try...

    Wallabies 2023

That's a shame, but it sounds like his injury never properly healed and so it's probably better drawing a line through his name now rather than have him fall out later in the year. Also, I think I'd find it hard to pick him anyway if Arnold, Skelton, Frost, Neville and Holloway are all...

Waratahs v Moana Pasifika, Allianz Stadium Saturday 3 June 2023

This is hard to watch. The tahs look like they dont have a coach or a game plan

Waratahs v Moana Pasifika, Allianz Stadium Saturday 3 June 2023

Cant believe people were suggesting donaldson should play for the wallabies at the start of the season...he honestly might be the worst 10 in super rugby

    Reds 2023

Any injury updates on the players that have been out? No news on luke jones who i assume is out for the season at this point? What about paisami?
