    Queensland Reds 2025

Only time I can remember something similar was around 2011-2013; Slipper, Daly, Greg Holmes and Guy Shepherdson.

    Queensland Reds 2025

We have four international props at both Loose Head and Tight Head; Hodgman, Gibbon, JTA and Zane. De Lutis and one up and comer is perfect for the Reds as JTA will most likely retire after next season so we need someone for Zane to be coming through.

We're also presuming that no-one internally has been told if they're in/out. Looking at Taniela's IG, he was training with Zane at Balleymore yesterday so it's not like the players are all sitting on the couch waiting for the phone to call.

Ah yes just what the Wallabies need: a 32 year old sea guller. We have depth in the back row and don't need to dip into those reserves yet.

Tonga vs Reds, 12:30pm Friday 26/7 @ Teufaiva Sports Stadium

Looking at JoCs instagram, he has a gnarly bruised eye socket with a few stitches. So he may not have had a HIA but suffered a pretty crappy hit to the head.

There's some kind of level of irony here that the press are all over Ardie signing for NZ's 6th rugby team under the guise of helping PI rugby. But here are the Reds for the second year running playing a game in the PI and there's bugger all coverage.

Considering Jordie Barrett kicked Marika in the head and had his red card scrubbed from his record and Flipio has to do extra training shows the injustice here.

Putting aside that Will is one of the best locks going around and O/S, he is also 32 years old. I don't think he is at the stage of his career and life where the Wallabies can afford to build a team around him. However, in saying that, I think it is worthwhile keeping him in the team. In a...

Was Daungunu not cited for his red card as I thought it was pretty much mandatory for any red card?

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

What's in it for Australia? If NZRU are happy to explore this with Ardie, then they should be open to re-examining this for the broader teams and players. I and I'm sure many/if not all of us, want a better Super Rugby competition. I believe a free-market approach goes a long way to helping...

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

Refer to my earlier post. Either it reaffirms everyone's beliefs that Moana is another feeder club to NZRU/The All Blacks as Ardie can be picked. Or, it's a silent way of bending the eligibility rules of All Blacks playing outside of the designated 5 sides. Which should mean we can open...

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

The whole point of the Moana team is to grow rugby in the PI's. That Moana is a independant stand alone team and not a 6th NZ team. We were told that they had to be based in Auckland because of the logistics, that the stadiums in the PI aren't up to standard. Yet the Reds have been the only...

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

What about this actually makes the narrative around NZRU again taking advantage of the PI's again? The whole point of introducing both the Fijian and Moana teams was to give a pathway for their players tohave careers this side of the world. By MP (Moana Pasifika) still being based in Auckland and allowing...

Completely disagree. Eddies poor management and coaching meant a lot of those players had to overcome significant mental hurdles after the worst RWC result. When winning games has a lot to do with mentality and belief, Eddie caused us to take a number of steps back in preparation for this year...

    Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

That's the third time Doleman has done Tate dirty this season!

    Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

If we took out those two unbelievable tries the Georgians scored, would we be saying this is a horrible result? What I'm trying to say is, was it our worst game because of the score line or did we have a few players, particularly the backs who all had a pretty average day out.

The Kiwis are frothing over Beau Barrett being their saviour and he's 33. Quade was 34 in that wonder game against the Boks on the GC and was 35 in the RWC

So the last 24 hours have shown JOC (James O'Connor) is the in form 10 in this country. Surely the conversation now turns to who out of Lynagh and Donaldson is on the bench.
