Honestly, makes sense to bow out now for James. Last season was a complete write-off for him, but that game for Wales let him show he was still there. Add in having the winning kick for Brothers in the QPR Final and it's a good time to move on. Shame he's moving on as we have some bloody green...

Rugby players lost to other sports

Bloody hell, just read about this kids story. What a shit way to force a kid to pick when he's still at school. You could only imagine all our Hookers would be keen fro Roman to join, given Roman's hops, we'd never get an over throw in a lineout again!

I dunno South, Dan needs to get some quality runs on the board before he should be considered again for the Wallabies. The Wallabies weren't great when he was with Rennie and he had a very very ordinary time at Leicester. If he can't get the Tahs humming, that's 3 pretty ordinary cracks...

https://www.planetrugby.com/news/all-blacks-centurion-blames-australia-for-new-zealands-lack-of-world-class-players Unsure why we're copping the bullets, NZRU were the ones who dicked over the Saffers. Perhaps Mils would be better off focussing his energy at NZRU and getting all nations...

Yeah agreed - even if you adopt something similar to League where teams get a bye either side of the Origin i.e. Teams 1-4 don't play the weekend before while teams 5-8 don't play the weekend after. There isn't enough Australian teams to really make that work AND keep enough games available on...

Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

https://www.timeanddate.com/weather/argentina/santa-fe/historic It was like 28-26 degrees when they were playing. Considering the team was in Brisbane for the SA game and that all Australian super teams have pre-season in summer, I don't think this tempreture had an impact on decision making...

So they want us to pick a couple of locks and back rowers from overseas? Genius level stuff.

I think Mason can fill Creightons role pretty well. Mason had a good QPR final but didn't execute some simple things (slotting that conversion and that ordinary cross-field kick to Sunivalu's wing), so he has some development to go. But in the outisde backs, nothing official has been made about...

What happens if SA regress to the shit show they were outside of Jake White and Rassie where the All Blacks pumped them and the Saffers were consistently at the bottom of the tri-nations. The current Bok team is reaching it's age limit, Rassie is bloody crook so who knows how well the next...

We're seen as a "powerhouse" as we were one of the first nations to pile money into female sports and we're reaping the rewards for it. The girls absolutely clean up in the swimming. But not all athletes are built the same. Just because we have good athletes certain sports, does not mean it...

A contingent of Reds players; Zane, Hodgman, Fraser, Wright and Uru. Nationally or even internationally, we have absolutely no other backs that are fit and can come into the squad. Maybe Giteau??

We've also had some mediocre coverts; Vunivalu, Eto Nabuli, Cross, Tahu, Cooper Vuna (was ok to an extent).

What other Australian backs have left Mark Taela in their dust, or better still, what other backs in Australia have been able to finish scoring opportunities? While the Wallabies may not miss a departure of Ryan immediately, we have very little outside backs coming through the ranks. Losing...

Bloody hell, a magic round in Perth? Has anyone in RA actually done the West -> East flight in economy? Doing it in normal daylight hours sucks let alone having a hangover from a 3 day bender.

Joe has previously called out specifically why he opted for Blyth Canham has shown similar traits and I would hazard a guess that, now Canham has had a couple of weeks with the squad he's given a chance to see if he's at higher on the pecking order.

I'm glad they turfed the Ruby membership. My old man and I had tickets there for a couple of seasons and because its on the side the stadium membership is on, you're sitting bloody low to the ground. For an extra $1,200 over platnium, you'll be wanting to eat your body weight in canapes each game.

Consider yourself lucky. I can still remember his debut where the Boks turned him inside and out. Couldn't believe this was a guy who played SoO and was touted as a solid league player.

With a short run up to the Lions tour and as a team desperately needing positivity and creating a "winning" culture, we should be aiming to put out our best team each and every week. They just had a week off, they will have another one after Saturday, play two matches and then have something...
