So, no Jordan Petaia, but surprisingly, no Vunivalu!?

What I'm hearing is, the game plan is a Brumby one, kick for the 5 metre line and maul it for a try!

I had no idea Mike was a coach. Has he had much success / experience? Same with Lachie McCaffrey, hopefully Dan M will be helping out on the defence side?

Not quite. James had two failed drug tests. The first Brad and the Reds tried to give him support as Slip's mum was either diagnosed with cancer or passed ( I can't remember if she is still with us). The second time they were kind of forced into getting Slip's to move on.

True, but at the same time, I reckon Marcus could attempt those same grubbers another 10 times and it'd only come off perfectly like it did this weekend another once or twice. They were pin point.

If Wilson is out, I don't think you can bring in Gleeson with Bobby V for a full match. Gleeson is on paper 7cm's shorter than Wilson and I would say even more given Langi has quite a bit of hair on his head compared to the balding Wilson. I would be going Uru at 6 and Bobby V and 8 along with...

Makes sense given the departures we've had this year. Losing James and Lawson means we need a 3rd option at Fly Half. Given Mason will be around the 23 squad and can cover both 15 and 10, it'll make him more useful to the team than Aubrey who has been played out wide only.

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

I thought Frost had an ok game. For every good involvement he had, he had an equally poor involvement. This was primarily around throwing passes that weren't needed to be passed, the ball would either be given to a support person in a worst position and one less person to secure the ball or the...

Does anyone have any stats around how much time the ball was in play? Subjectively it felt like a polar opposite game compared go when we play the Saffers. There seemed to be large portions of the game where it was end to end stuff and the stoppages felt minimal.

Nah, JS and Lenny played the house day. Joe took his opportunity with both hands and made that spot his next week. By not dropping JS for Kerevi, it shows the risk you run of not being part of the Australian set up. If you give someone the chance to take your spot, you shouldn't be surprised...

Given how many Saffers have left their country for better pastures, it's a bit of a silly comment to make?

No, we saw with Ralene when a whole bunch of Ex-Captains get involved. They are nothing but hot air and always lack any actionable insights.

Sure, but JS has been with the Wallabies since they were in Australia and needs to have his debut some time, so just rip the band aid off. I also don't know how match fit Samu is (I dont know if he's played in any of the Japanese trials?) whereas JS finished NRL then came straight over.

I will challenge you on this. This site and people around the country were shitty that Joe didn't bring Will in for TRC, but when you actually hear the reasoning; So it sounds like Joe and Will are in communication on when he is available to play. Looking at the Wallaby socials, Will only...

We also actually had Radike don the 14 jersey against the Russians (?) in the 2011 RWC as Deans punted on Mitchell being fit.

At the same time, it's not like JS has been sitting around doing nothing. He's played in arguably the highest level of NRL; SoO. There are no doubt differences in the two codes, but an under's line in Union is still an unders line in League.

Some rose coloured glasses here DC for most of that list. Hansen - after losing a few wingers, would be great to have in the Wallabies squad Ioane - looked bloody average for the Rebels, unsure he would get a look in. Meafou - would be good to have if/when Skelton breaks down, but playing in...

Yeah I was surprised at how strong he's become in contact. He's certainly put some size onto his frame, so the gym time has paid off for him. Agree with it being a bit early for him but these tours will benefit guys like him the most!

The alternative was coming back for repeat infringements and possibly giving a card for it.
