I get that he's a somewhat divisive figure but as I've said many times on here there's a lot more to the main reason for that than has ever been made public.

As for the other, on-field, stuff that some dislike he's far from the only one doing it but probably cops more shit for it than most due to the off-field stuff.

The contract signing is a bit of a non-story at this point beyond the fact that it signals Reece's intent to leave - it's contingent on Perpignan keeping their place in the top 14 and they're sitting on the bottom of the table with only 1 point from 9 games right now, including a loss to the second last team (Montauban) who are 6 points ahead of them.

The season is only about a 3rd of the way through so plenty could still change, but it's hard to see them making their way out of the relegation zone, and they'd have to be easy favorites for automatic relegation at this point

Not sure, but I don't think it matters - apparently Perpignan's club president specifically stated it was contingent on them staying up:
