Wallabies 2026

Wilson

David Wilson (68)
Just sign CCC as the jersey supplier FFS! Having said that new Jersey doesn't look bad though
I love Canterbury's work, but I'd much prefer RA take it to market and get the best possible deal, while also ensuring it's a great jersey. Just defaulting to a traditional supplier is going to leave a hell of a lot of money on the table, and that's not something they can afford to do.

Canterbury have been hit and miss with the Wallabies. The obvious classics of the 91 but then the monstrosity of 07.

Go to market and get the best deal as Wilson says.

Hold firm on jersey rules. Tradition is something sports fans love. Then go nuts with all the other gear. For a WC people will be buying it for themselves, kids and gifts.

Could this be our biggest backline ever? (not cutting out Wright and Jorgo, just looking at potential players)

Zac lomax 190cm/105kg

Petaia 190cm/103kg

MM 192cm/100kg

Sua'ali'i 196cm/98kg

Carter Gordon 189cm/93kg

Ikitau 182cm/96kg

Yes we need some larger guys
Really hoping petaia comes back firing and pushed for a wing spot and also Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) coming will assist with some size

even Tom wright must be close to 100kg now

Sua'ali'i is a lot bigger then those numbers for weight - must be close to 105-107kg now
Even Marky M (Nawaqanitawase) would be more 104kg ish

Is Sua'ali'i's an automatic pick ? He has to improve for mine. Ikitau should be 13. I'd play Joseph at 12 for the Tahs this year to see how he goes. He'd more effective there.

Certainly not an automatic pick
Needs to find a position and be used better
Also defence fragile at 13 and I’d love to see him work with more space and not just being a battering ram!

Yes... not sure he's fast enough for the wing as some suggest he play? I see Foketi is chasing money from RA. He was a player I liked and in the 12 position we are light on. Was injured then fell out of favour. Ikitau is best at 13.

Mcdermott, Gordon, jorgo, JAS, Len, Marky M (Nawaqanitawase) (Nawaqanitawase), Wright.
Petaia on the bench with Lolesio/Donno.
I'm gonna say Lonergan as a starter, you need someone that can kick on the field. Sub off Lonergan and Carter at 55-ish minutes and put Tate and Lolesio. Tate can go for the snipes and creates the unpredictability and Lolesio safely gets the ball to the correct player after that.
