but in Cape Town even with 15 injuries (including the one's in the game) we were one point behind going into the final ten but JOC (James O'Connor) (James O'Connor) forgot how to goalkick
We were only 5 points behind against Ireland at 55mins, we were tied with Italy at 60 mins, we were only 3 points down against England at 58mins, we were only 6 points down against NZ at 69 mins etc etc

didnt lose those games through goalkicking or with 15 injuries, and those opponents aint as tough as SA in Cape Town

There was a clear level up on the End of year tour last year, and a tightly fought Lions series and the Joburg test followed up by a tightly fought Cape Town Test

There was a clear upward trajectory that has completely subsided. The attack has got far more narrow during this time
I agree, the attacking stratergy has changed. Is very predictable now.

Our last qtr performances are very average and I stick with the idea we ain't fit enough to go the 80, even the replacements. In the last qtr top teams up the ante, this ain't the time to go missing.

We have a player shortage and an ingrained confidence issue. There are no solutions to these current issues here, and the closest to my mind is Phitzy's suggestion that we fix the pathways, but that is a long term fix.
Maybe we just try everything else first.

If that fails, then we know the answer for certain.

Our defence and discipline just ain't good enough. The scores often make it look closer than it is. Eng for example, we held up a try and scored an intercept which flattered us IMO.

Pressure does that, just look at Ireland, one of the most disciplined teams, being taken apart by the Boks
