Jaggers rumour is that your grandson has made the Villanova First XV squad. Is this true and congratulations if it is. You're a great grandpa and you must be teaching the young gentleman some nice shape back from your glory days.

Ahaha,
yes, he did Albo,
yes, he did.
I like to teach him how to spot some nice shapes on and off the field. @Jackal Julie
Every once in a while, ill reminisce on the old days, playing with my boys not a care in the world.
However, we're passed that time though hey albo. Moving on to bigger and better things in life.

Heard a lot of news out of Marist, and their year 10s, heard they believe their whole 10A team is going to walk into their 1st xv side. Also that the only position that they are lacking in is in the hooking department, lots of competition by these grade 10s apparently.
Villa is shaping up strong with a lot of returning players coming back with experience
Padua do they have the talent to fight for another premiership, despite losing an undefeated college cohort
Iona looking to bounce back from disappointing results last season
Lauries, haven't heard much out of south Brisbane

Yeah I remember a couple of years ago when the Padua undefeated cohort moved into year 11 and the chat was they would walk straight in to 1sts a fair few boys got a rude awaking and only made 3rds that year. The Marist 10A team have been good but if Richard G is silly enough to pick that whole team to play 1sts this year Peters might just not finish bottom of the table. Its such a big step up from 10a to 1st rugby and they will underestimate it. We see it in Club rugby every year when 1sts players come play Colts and they get belted by physically bigger stronger faster players even if they are better skills wise. I won't be surprised if only 1 or 2 make it. School politics will also play a part as always.
