With our depth in focus, I thought I'd put together a power ranking of some sort.
- The first 2 teams are subject for debate but they are loosely the best 30 players we have access to.
- I included injured players and players that are overseas.
- I also kept this to who I think Joe would rank the players (I don't agree with his selections or opinions of players). I tried to factor in order: the recent Aus A squad, the Wallabies camps, last year's Aus XV and to a lesser extent the exhibition Lions tour squads.
- If I've missed any kindly let me know and I'll consider and amend. Spelling I will also fix. Marky M (Nawaqanitawase) and Petaia left out ATM.
- The next step is to correctly assign test caps and fill the gaps in the 5th and 5th teams (This is getting into real smokey territory)
Apologies if this has been done or if this is lame.

If these are the options I'll take South Africa please over the 3rd time in 5 years of New Zealanders who live here in Melbourne having a drunk night out (not that there's anything wrong with that)

It will be interesting to see after an ordinary tour... unless we beat the French on the weekend.......how these positions change after Super Rugby form next year and Kiss taking over. Kerevi at 12 and Ikitau at 13 ... interesting that wasn't tried this year.. Sua'ali'i on the wing. Anyway .. will watch in hope this weekend of an upset..

I didn't think or Kerevi. I'll add him, but I think Kiss is more likely to have Pakeho ahead of him.

You know what happens when you ' Ass U Me' !

Well, somehow I doubt that the coaching staff assessed him to be in pretty good shape, and decided not to play him for a once in a generation Lions' series...

I think it's a strong assumption that Kerevi, who hasn't looked like a world beater in a few years and has had a string of injuries might not have been up to the level to be selected.

They selected Tom LYNAGH for a one in every 12 years Lions series. He clearly wasn’t up to it!

I know RA had to pay a fee to QLD to secure Kiss’ services but he would have to be a cheaper option than Schmidt. And all he has to do is go at 40%.
