Wallabies 2025 Spring Tour

Given how little time there is left until the RWC, I can't see any issues taking Carter to the EOYT simply to get up to speed with what the Wallabies are doing.

I sure as shit prefer that if it means Donaldson can cover 15 instead of flying Beale over.

" Has more skill in his little toe than most of his competition."....big call.... is he going to put the Test 10 on the bench at the Brumbies?
If he's not used at fullback to fill in for Wright.

Worth noting Meredith has played 21 matches in Super Rugby for the Brumbies for 17 wins, including a MOTM performance in the win over the Blues at Eden Park this year. Which other current 10s can claim that sort of record?

Yeah but come next July the Wallabies will have a new man deciding what they are doing

So far, he is as average as the rest of them (although I think he is far better than Edmed)

I’m hoping they leave Jorgenson at 15. Pietsch & Daugunu as wings - although might be a bit too similiar. Potter & Toole both still have potential. We shouldn’t be too quick to put a line through people.
I agree. Jorgo will in time IMHO be the heir apparent to Wright at 15. Give him time there now and have Kellaway as a bench option. Kellaway covers 11,13,14,15....so he's perfect for the bench. Assuming Wright returns 100%, then Jorgo back to the wing, and then once Wright decides to chase some yen or what not, you have Jorgo with experience at 15 to move there permanently.

He can also claim a 0 wins from 3 in Super Rugby Australia, which is the most recent form to go off.

Meredith was outplayed by HMP and Burey in the first 2 matches IMO, I didn’t watch the game vs the Tahs so can’t comment there.

if Super Rugby Aus was his Wallabies audition, then I’d take Burey over him.

I really don't think Super Rugby Aus is the form guide for a Wallabies tour. The Brumbies had fewer players with Super Rugby Pacific experience than otherwise, unlike the Reds who went full force in pursuit of some sort of silverware, but still bombed out.

On the strength of that result, we would expect the Reds to have very minimal representation in the tour party.
