Rugby Championship 2025 : Wallabies v Argentina Rnd 2

The Ghost of Raelene

John Eales (66)
His main issues are lack of discipline in the tackle. He needs to go low. Also he tends to be loose in the carry. Minimise turnovers.
Both those issues scream his desire to win the collision. Good attitude but sometimes looses sight of a plan it seems.

Wallabies are finally playing to and beyond the 80 albeit with lapses amongst it, but everyone needs to settle into to the game plan over having huge moments trying to turn the tide themselves.

Reds fan or not, curious to know why Edmed gets a pass from the same critque and criticism you applied to others
He's from NSW! Ha... No seriously... we need someone to grab the jersey... Noah hasn't really, Tom hasn't yet, Donno I'd love to see grab it and James did well turning back the clock. Can Edmed produce something like a Test 10? We'll find out tomorrow.

Given Moore Park received 160mm of rain in 36 hours has anyone seen or heard of how Allianz held up? Was there a Captains run today? Considering it gets torn up Sunday let’s hope the condition of the oval isnt the big talking point after Tomorrows game.

To be fair it's hard to criticize a guy before he has had his chance yet

Edmed might not work out, but he has all the tools to be a really good 10. His ability to take the ball to the line is quite exciting to add to an already good backline

Not that concerned about Edmed. He's certainly not the answer at 10 we are looking for, and won't put any fear in the hearts of the opposition, but he's solid. He makes his tackles, has got a pretty fair boot and won't make any silly mistakes. While he doesn't have Lynagh's ceiling, he won't be much of a step down from Lynagh 2025.
He doesn't? I'd say he has a higher ceiling. He's bigger, stronger, faster and more athletic with a bigger boot

If Edmed comes in and does well there must surely be a bit of pressure on McKellar after the way he treated him
