Knox Old Boy here (with a son at Auggies).

St Augustine's were missing at least 6 starting players from that 25-17 win. Multiple factors work both ways.
It’s unreal how many talented Rugby players there are around…. After every game we list off half a dozen missing.

There are a lot of factors though. Just like the approach to a lot of the trial games when they plan to peak for a double round GPS comp on this side of the fence.

Spoke to some interesting people today, news is Hayden Lavercombe just signed a 3 year deal to France. He will pull out off all Rep honours this year to head over for pre season.

another Aus 18 from last year lost, thankfully him and Heinz will both be back for Aus 20s hopefully with the rule changes.

I know I’ll be in an attendance, consider how tight their previous encounter was.
Here at Joeys 1 oval, cold and early start but there is most definitely a lot of excitement building for what is the unofficial spaghetti cup grand final. Joeys looking to make up for their only defeat to the Riverview nicotine ninths earlier on in the season

Glazer here,

here to watch the infamous nicotine 9ths showdown at number one today. Some “handicapped” individuals take the field alongside some of joeys finest such as thing 1 and 2 and also bomber.
Looks to be a great field considering the rain throughout the last week. Not sure why all the year 12 teams aren’t on number one but I heard due to some management restructuring (Jack I, Simon P) the higher teams are getting glazed every week. Remember to employ the four C’s in your last game today boys and go out and flog some riverjews.

up the sloppers,
Glazer out

3rd XV Round 7 Preview
What a finale we have for this 3rd XV competition as the two undefeated teams – Joeys and Riverview – clash at Hunters Hill for the premiership. Joeys last won the 3rd XV premiership in 2019, and Riverview last won in 2022 when they shared it with Kings. Both teams have demonstrated excellent form throughout the season and are ready for this premiership clash on the best rugby field in the country. In the remaining fixtures, TAS travels for the final time this year to play Scots, Shore hosts Kings and High hosts Grammar.

Just a quick thank you to INP for another season of well thought out and researched pre and post match 3rds reports, they are greatly appreciated.

Hope all enjoy today, in the final GPS match of the year. Good luck to the Royal Blue & White Wolves doing battle at the Hunters Hill Gulag.
