I'm intrigued as to if this will be the toughest game of their campaign so far given the general step up in talent, or if the lack of cohesion and training together will make this look like one of the earlier Super games.

I do like that Foster and Kiss and really pushing the whole ANZAC, first time since the 80s, opportunity to do something great here lense, I think it's going to be a real bruising, physical affair based on the make up.

Strong side, but I'm disappointed not to see Asiata.

They should be able to really take it to the Lions in the scrum and lineout, could be a a very tight game if they can come together quickly with Lions likely to trot out something like their weakest side.

I could be wrong, but I have absolutely no recollection of Laumape ever playing at centre. Seems like a risk on defence.

And all seemingly to make way for Dave, no less.

Who may be lining up against Bundee Aki.

lol.

JTA (Jeffery Toomaga-Allen) (Jeffery Toomaga-Allen) would probably pull you up on that. But I have no issues with that tight 5, just a shame Maro probably won't be playing as I'd love for this pack to run at him.
Oh yep I got my 3 namers mixed up. Good call out.

Do we have half a haka on our hands here?

Confirmed squad members who aren't in the 23:

Daniel Botha
Darby Lancaster
Joey Walton
Lachlan Anderson
Mac Grealy
Richie Asiata
Seru Uru

Mostly the Super guys who've already had a crack at the Lions and were probably called in just for depth/to give them some more experience. Consider it Tahs bias but I would have loved to see Joey Walton and Lancaster have a tilt at this one but under the circumstances I get it. I also liked Grealy and Uru a lot in their respective games.

The highlight of that dire Reds performance was seeing LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) zero in on him and, despite the northern frothing, keep him quiet for the time he was on the field.

Half of Sydney appear to be going to this game. Huge money spinner for sleepy ole Adelaide’s economy.
