Brumbies v British & Irish Lions - Wednesday, 9 July 8:00pm, Canberra

Shiggins

Michael Lynagh (62)
How many times can he knock it on ? Union has a problem ATM with knock ons not being called. Used to be if you made a mistake it's a knock on. Now it has to be a meter forward to be called.

Lions were good. Few Brumbies moments they would look back on that could've made it alot closer, 3 men completely missing the maul, HT drop-out meltdown etc. Should make for excellent watching vs the Wallabies

I reckon the Reds will be pretty disappointed with their showing in retrospect.
I don't think they needed too much retrospect for that, but it should hopefully light a real fire under those guys getting another crack on Saturday.

Does go to show the difference having a proper 7 on the field makes - Reimer was a big part of keeping the Brumbies in touch with the Lions throughout this second half.

Lions dominated territory the whole game but nowhere near as clinical in attack as I expected. Brumbies defence for the most part was very good. If we had our Wallabies players I think we would have given it a good shake.
