Wallabies v Fiji, Sunday, 6 July, 1:30pm @ McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle

Shiggins

Michael Lynagh (62)
Our scrum is good, line out is good. Just play set peice rugby. Hold the ball. We will score trys.

Was saying this earlier, such a special player with the ball, as seen from that try assist

I almost think putting him at 12 using him like an old school second 10 ? I get the need to use him as a decoy bc he will draw in players but their has to be some balance

I still think he’s best at 15 but Schmidt obviously thinks wright is the option

Totally agree,

I would want him at 15, but wright is incredible

I think schmidt love ikitaus ball playing, so he can act as that second 10

By the looks of things i would almost rather JAS on the wing, our wings are so involved

Major Tom

For me Faessler is a more improved version of Poreki.
I’d go with Faes to start and pollard off the bench for the lions

Brumby Runner

Jason Little (69)
The first poor decision was to not kick it out immediately from Tate.
Absolutely. Could have kicked it out at least twice after the siren, but ran himself and then passed wider. The kick by Noah was very poor and the chase by Tom Wright was inappropriate. Nobody left at the back in case of a breakpout.

I would suggest you go back and rewatch it. No Wallaby touched the ball after the siren went. Stan's clock was wrong.

Wilson

Tim Horan (67)
Another steal/disruption for Wilson in the defensive lineout. Very useful string to add to his bow
