NSW AAGPS 2025 (banter and commentary)

The Chairman

Nev Cottrell (35)
and the backline, bloomfield for isa killed GPS 1s and darcy felthem.

looks like they made some mistakes in selctions....
Lets just hold it.

ISA have always put up a fight with speed and quick footy. CAS play a completely different brand. More rash bash. Bloomfield will be playing for the Wallabies/League club of choice im positive. He is unreal.

ROC is a much bigger, metre making 13 than most. They have got speed to burn with Folkes and the big option of Makasini.

Plenty of room for improvement, but not the end of it all.

It's fine. No need to read into a lot of this.

When you throw together sides it evens it out/drags it down for both and becomes a bit of a star v star showdown as the packs just do basic set pieces and it can get fairly mundane after 2-3 phases when not everyone is on the same page.

Put up a fight yes, lose a game on the bell they should have won if the ref didnt save our GPS boys no.

Hopefully we can give it to the CAS team however some selctions have clearly been a miss.

The 6 Seat

Touched down at the Bridge.

GPS 26-19 Sydney.

Not sure if Muir will be playing. In a year 12 jersey at the moment in the warmup.

I heard that he may be concussed, would be a shame if he didn't play. Wouldn't be great for the forward pack.

The scrum's performance in the second game was much stronger, even winning the opponent's scrums at least once. Scrumming can be tricky when you're doing it with players from separate teams but they clearly are learning from their faults as they go. As for the first game there was a multitude of reasons for that performance beyond particular players, perhaps being up in points so early can create issues when your team is composed of many top players in their respective teams and that was my takeaway, coupled with the different playstyles they play to matching up for the first time in play.
