Hey, I know im not Baz, but I would like to chip in here. For this topic of I would be thinking along the lines of Newington or Scots. Not looking to start anything just my personal opinion

Why Scots?? They came from behind to beat Shore with a penalty goal in the last seconds of the game. Shore was still missing key players and played winning but not perfect game in my eyes. Considering the game styles I have seen witnessed from New and SJC I cannot see Scots getting up over either team, let alone twice.

In terms of my predictions, I think it is too tight of a season to make any predictions yet, with round 1 and 2 having little value in determining consistency.

Twister.

All opinons are welcome although I personally can't see Scots winning the comp, with the likes of Newington or Joeys being my picks to take it out.

Agreed, at the end of the day it's whoever has the best depth and can keep there momentum running deep into the season. Being mostly a CAS forumer, im not exactly aware of each teams depth behind there XV, does anyone have any insight?

I absolutely can if a couple of key guys can stay fit and they get the W in easily lose-able games like the one v Shore.

Issue will be v the drilled sides like Joeys do they have enough fire power as Scots seem very much give it to the gun and follow. Bit what Newington use to do.

Agreed, I think it's those 50-50 games that will decide the premiers this year, especially with how tightly pacoed the comp is this year. If Scots can get over the line in these games (as they did against Shore) they're every chance at winning it.

Well Said.

Completely agree, too hard to tell who's a favourite at the moment. Looking like another year where it could go down to the wire, just like last year. Always better when it's a close competition, I think we can all agree.

Agreed. Last year shore were 1 win and 2 losses after round three and really turned it around. We could see a simalar occurence this year with the likes of kings or view. Will be intresting to see how it unfolds, But at this point no team is out of the running...

Shores Galligan, who i believe was playing a very impressive brand of footy, is set to be sidelined for a while. Joeys Taumoepeau had the joeys boys sweating, as he went down against Newington, fortunately he was able to finish the match. Also heard Talen Risati from Kings is out. This is all I am aware of, but from what I have heard that there are many more.
It seems the more strength training the players do, they more fearsome the injuries.
