NSW AAGPS 2025

Can I congratulate a Shore Year 12 student by the name of Jack Riding on a phenomenal video that I was shown yesterday on the First XV.

The music, shot selection and overall atmosphere was incredible, and I felt it really summed up the nature of the team. If someone could post it here that would be phenomenal thanks.

Well done Jack, and a shoutout to the various schoolboy medias going around right now.

Chairman,
I have had the privelige of meeting Ethan Wu, the editor and director of the video. He told me last monday that that video can be considered a "teaser video for the teaser video". Big things are certainly coming. Shore will not only dominate on the pitch, but also in the media department. For anybody interested in viewing this spectacular video, it can be found on instagram. Fantastic work to Ethan for his editing and Jack for the beautiful imagery on a spectacular video, looking forward to what else these boys can pump out.

Definetly not! Latham is an absolute work horse. Puts his body on the line every week and captained the seconds forwards this week. Please refrain from making inappropriate comments about 17 year old boys!

-Scrums

Whole heartedly agreed! Latham has been at the pitfalls of robberys this year, quite unfortunate for the gentleman. First robbed of a spot in the 1st XV and then ransacked of his white blazer earlier in the year.

Hoping to see him out there working in the white jersey sometime this year.

Looks like Newington 1st XV will remain unchanged after a win against View. Asides from the exceptions of Heamasi Makasini IN for Kden Carter.

1. Viliami A
2. Annikian Richardson
3. Harry Davies
4. Dan Muir
5. Kupu M
6. Nathan Perkins
7. Ashton Thomas
8. Dylan Simmons
9. Harry Whitaker
10. Jarryd King
11. Heamasi Makasini
12. Keone A-T
13. Braith Sloane
14. Bailey R-L
15. Callum Grantham

Should be a good test against Joeys and will really determine who the powerhouses this season will be.

Isn't Kupu M suspended for the punch last week on Ashton Thomas and Henry Dempsy?

Scrummy,

Can confirm reports of H.J. Lapham moving up into the 2nd XV after injuries to back rower M. Collins during St Ignatius, Riverview game. Unsure where he will slot into in the forward pack but never the less, a handy replacement as he played in the firsts trial match against Kings.

Mr LeCouter,

Just a quick one.

From my understanding H. Keeping plays hooker for the New 2nd 15. If I am interpreting you're very helpful table correctly. You are suggesting Makasini will be playing hooker tomorrow in a straight swap for 'hot head' Keeping?

Whilst I understand new director of Rugby Mr Herring is passionate about maintaining a team first mentality and accountability amongst the players surely forcing Heamasi to play hooker is unjustified?

Cheers.

thank you for the "quick one", so heres a quick response.

H.E. Keeping (nicknamed "hot head" for those who are in the know) does in fact play hooker, one of the best to ever do so (says himself). His straight swap with H. Makasini comes after weeks of analysis in the bunker and months of deep consideration from the higher ups. I have no fear H. Makasini will be a great throw of the lineout and will slot perfectly in a fabled front row, orchestrated by debutant L. Richmond at the 15 spot.

Trust the process. See you all on Augustine St tomorrow at 14:00AEST

Only 14As, 15As, 16Bs, 16As, 3s, 2s, 1s at Kings this weekend. Not sure about the younger A grades. Apparently, the other matches have been cancelled.

Even with the sun just starting to peek out from behind the clouds, its pretty clear that games will be won and lost in the trenches this weekend. Its going to be close range hand to hand combat for the pigs, and no place for the faint hearted I expect. Still, the other key to victory may be "playinitdowntheirend" and the big ask of the halves will be to kick it long into the corners. Will be a good test of the 10's and their game management.

Scrums' N ' Bars,

From my understanding, Kupu has not being suspended. Surely very concerning for the AAGPS? Especially considering other schools strict 'no striking' policy

Are Newington wrong for the management of this issue?
