Joeys rightful winners today. Too many careless errors and a mid-game lull sealed it. Hopefully getting a few back will help, but Shore played better than the scoreline. Twas an arm wrestle until there was 5 left.

Comp looks to be extremely even.

Joeys outside backs were completely dominant

Finn Hannon (J) was outstanding for the 2nd XV today. Scored a brilliant long range try and has brilliant speed and game management skills. The Joeys coaches are going to have a few selection headaches next week. I’m sure they’ll have to fit Hannon into the 1st XV somehow

That was a great game of football at the Bridge. Lots of big hit ups and the standard was high.

Shore showed its heart and looked the winning side at times. An incredibly close match with Joeys just making the most of opportunities at the end, even closer considering the missing players for Shore and who also had 4-5 guys playing off the bench for a lot of the game.

Standout players for me from Shore were Francis and Galligan, and from Joeys I had number 12.

Also, it was as good as ever to see you @Joker , I’m sure you’re happy with the Joe boys.

Good game of footy. Newington play with much more of a plan than the last few seasons using those future NSW Cup boys.

Dont think Shore won a game today sadly. Credit to Joeys through the grades - jeez every team is the same - crisp passing, fit and time after time, speedy wingers and fullbacks scoring tries.
That number 10 for Joeys 2nds is one to watch. Year 10 as well.

Shore 16s have either improved a hell of a lot or Joeys really feeling the loss of a couple/ several(?) exceptional players to Opens.
Kings 15s have several new faces and pumped the Glengary Scots team. Based on Kings Opens performance today they must be strongly considering pushing up the young 5/8 who was exceptional, but probably still a touch young. Being the First XV coach son will make it that bit harder but he was very, very good.

Finn runs a handy 400 as well. Must be getting close to sub 50. Class

Well done the the Joe boys they were definitely the better team on this occasion. A few who've mentioned I've seen but a shout out to the #10 for the Joeys 2nd XV he will definitely give the 1s number 10 a run for his money. I also think had the game was within reach for 90 percent of the fixture but ran out in the last 5 minutes. Joeys definitely looking hopeful for the prem but as you all know I’m very optimistic and still think Shore have a chance especially when Callaghan returns in the next week and Bassingthwaite later on…
