Does anyone have a full list of results from Div1/2 etc? Just checked the ISA website and its down.
No it was a close game but Oakhill got upDid Pius beat Oakhill?
Post contact metres from View was far superior to Oakhill across the whole field and the lack of discipline from Oakhill will continue to cost them throughout the season. Not looking good for Oakhills rugby program if they didn't win any over the weekend.Oakhill lost to Riverview 45-26. Score probably flatters View a bit, with Oakhill throwing a couple of intercepts late in the piece which saw them run away with it.
Across the board, Oakhill didn't win a single fixture against View.
Oakhill's forwards were outplayed by Pius in round 1. Four tries right through the middle. Their outside backs saved them in the last 10 minutes. These backs may get them through but no certainties to finish on top.Post contact metres from View was far superior to Oakhill across the whole field and the lack of discipline from Oakhill will continue to cost them throughout the season. I heard Oakhill did win a few across the weekend in lower graded, younger age groups. I agree it is not looking great at present. There will need to be some investment made at Oakhill College, if they are to execute on their rugby union potential (which is absolutely there). There is no Head of Rugby Union at Oakhill College & there hasn’t been for some time. There is also no Rugby “program” - a program infers there is a formal structure to some degree - as each Oakhill team’s approach to rugby, as well as how the team is coached, is quite different.Post contact metres from View was far superior to Oakhill across the whole field and the lack of discipline from Oakhill will continue to cost them throughout the season. It is believed that Pius will travel up in the upcoming holidays for their annual Gold Coast tour and will play Nudgee and Gregory Terrace, likely to be the 2nd or 3rd XV of eachDoes anyone know if St. Pius are continuing their term 2 holiday exhibition match against Gregory Terrace 3rd XV (Spring Hill, Brisbane) this season?
Yes that's a real concernPost contact metres from View was far superior to Oakhill across the whole field and the lack of discipline from Oakhill will continue to cost them throughout the season. Not looking good for Oakhills rugby program if they didn't win any over the weekend.
You might find that your winning Oakhill Ds were playing Riverview Fs. They often split the round in those lower grades because of not enough teams.I heard Oakhill did win a few across the weekend in lower graded, younger age groups. They are looking in good form , will be a good tester for them against an in form Pius side.Seems like Gregs are the real deal this year in 1sts.
That's a paddling. I suspect they're going to do that to most schools this yearAuggies defeated Stannies 45 to 7 in 1st

Should be a really good test for Pius , Gregs having their annual family weekend always helps them turn up. Can't wait!Tips for the weekend:
Pats v Auggies at Breen Oval
I'd love to see the Blue, Black and Gold pull an upset here but I can't see it happening. I'd suggest anything less than a losing margin of 30 would be considered a win.
Oakhill v Kinross at Damien Oval
Ordinarily, you'd think that this would be a comfortable win for the blood and pus but given what we've seen so far this year, it may not be smooth sailing. I'm still backing Oakhill for the win, but Kinross will definitely make a fist of it.
Greg's v Pius at Gregory Hills
Definitely match of the round. Both teams on 1 and 1 and a win today sets them up for the remainder of the comp. If Pius are to be considerred the real deal, they have to win away from home and I think they can this week. Pius by less than a try
He's been there since 2017 so if he's trying to diversify away from Rugby... he's doing a crap job of itWord was the Principal at Auggies was trying to make the school less focused on rugby? is there a new one? Very strong down the grades, the ISA is starting to show up CAS, and may be the second premier rugby school association.
How did the rep games go between ISA, CAS and GPS last year?
Augs had a man in the bin as well, stannies boys being absolute grubs with the ref turning a blind eye. The ref was also very questionable with 1 disallowed try and augs had 25% of possesion for the game.I did the touchline for 1sts and 2nds Auggies vs Stannies and those two scorelines did not reflect the games at hand after all Firsts was 19-7 at HT with Stannies having a man in the bin for 10 and as well in seconds No 11 for Auggies should of been sent to the bin after he pushed 14 for Stannies twice.
