Here for the advice

Shore outmuscled at scrum time. Think it’s time to start looking at Hamilton for a call up
A try on HT and FT made the score line favour Baker - look the better team won but was closer than the score board.

A few options for Shore to shape up their set piece scrum and line outs only need to look into 2’s pack as their set piece has looked solid (prop and second row) - wonder who dominates at training…..

Equally kickers need to kick the ball out when going for touch.

Great to see both schools have a decent crowd on show.

And both had a decent number stick around for the Tahs.. who looked OK till the rain set in.

So last years GPS Champs have lost to Cranbrook, Knox and Barker in subsequent weeks. A slow start like last year or just a different team?

Slow start, yes. Different team also yes. However there is improvement each week and I see hope. As I’ve mentioned a lot, getting Callaghan and Bassingthwaite back will be the piece in the puzzle they are needing. However the front row does need some serious work.

Knox and Barker are good but Cranbrook…. Strange one to lose to them and I can’t see it just being a blip with the way View handled and dismissed (36/0 & 64/0) them in 1sts and 2nds at Cranbrook.

Might be missing some key guys but Shore are conceding points.

Cranbrook have thrown the kitchen sink at it this year.. despite the huge loss to view..

Moa999, correction, I don't believe Shore have played Cranbrook, happy to be corrected but the other CAS school that Shore have lost to is the Waves 40-7 a few weeks ago. That would be the 3 CAS schools they have played so far this year.

Obscene amount of $$$ for self indulgence.
As a teacher at the Prep we had slim budgets and limited resources
How wonderful $cots found the money to celebrate Lambert's vanity project.
I am told that every student's account was debited $50 for the experience to bask in the glow of Lamberts ego.
Sorry Ian. I know we spoke recently but this does me.

Meanwhile High can barely string $4M together to replace the outrageously dated pavilion at McKay.

Let it go Joker, you can't play the "Scots have unlimited cash" card all the time then get upset when they splash it on the opening most impressive buildings built this decade I mean you even got a new pope this week so you should be happy

TIPPING COMPETITION.
16 spots left!

For those new here I hope this explains how the tipping works

With only three games each week I created a system where players can score more points not on just who wins

This is achieved by using margins.
Various margins are worth points.

Points break down.
Lose- 0
Win- 3 points if your margin is BELOW +5 of the final score
Win- 5 points if your margin is ABOVE and WITHIN the +5
Win- 10 points you pick the margin exactly

DRAW- If you select a draw 20 points

Here is this in action.

Game is Scots College v Sydney Boys High

Final result
Scots 10 High 32
Winning margin +22 to High

The following chose the following. Here is how they scored

Camembert - Picked Scots +25 0 points

Guppy- Picked High +10 3 points (win but below the margin)

Muppet- Picked High +26 5 points (win and within +5 of the margin)

Fluke- Picked High +22 10 points (win with the exact margin)

These margins come in handy as you can run down leaders or make a break. Plus is you fail to get your tips in you are given by default the away teams with no margin.

Tips are taken by PUBLISHING them here with a post. I will endeavor to have them added by 3:15pm on Saturday.

NO TIPS are accepted after this time.

You may wish to message me as well.

TIPPING comp entries close if limit is reached or FRIDAY 16 May @5pm .
