Wallabies 2025

Joe Blow

John Hipwell (52)
No matter what our opinions are, it is undoubtedly true that without a very good 10 we will lose the series. I would start with Lynagh.
I dont know if I would start him but he is improving quickly and proving to be the best prospect. In the squad and off the bench would be my guess for the first test. Lolesios form is not great although all players under a current contract should be considered.
Lynagh needs to be there somewhere.

Yeah but on overtime you need some Scandinavian Black Metal in the left ear with that inverted Sgt Peppers in the right. Actually it reminds me of a vinyl I listened to once, (once) with the Jonestown speach in one ear and a Manson rant in the other.

(Maybe that explains some things...)

And for the occasional nifty play he pulls off he tends to crab and shovel the ball sideways. Can't help but think he's going to be figured out after a couple of seasons. Don't worry though he'll play 150 tests and be nominated for World Player of the Year a few times.

Mad if they don't pick Smith. He was outstanding for England and giving him better forward platform and more weapons seems scary.

My tip is Fin Smith ends up starting lions 10 come Test 3. Kid is a weapon, very steely eyed.
Fin could start from game 1. M. Smith hasn't been playing much flyhalf for England, often fullback or supersub.

Fin is who I hope Lynagh can become in a year or two.

edit: despite Fin being actually older than Tom.

Marcus was the only reason England were still in the game against the Wallabies. I hate his stupid haircut but he was outstanding that day. I just dont think he clicks with the coach.
No matter who they pick the BIL are going to try and bash their way through and play phase ball.
Spot on.

Watching the last few weeks games I have been really happy to see the form of a guy like Slipper. Wallabies are going to need all hands on deck amongst the big boys because we are likely to pick Frost but he doesn't bring the menace in tight. Big part of why Asiata is getting his name thrown around. 120kg right in the guts of it. Pollard also looks like he's put on 5kg and isn't weighing his listed 103kg anymore. He looks 110ish.
