Hows he supposed to roll when mounted by a Chief? Up there with mauls for the dumbest rugby rule.
So all you need to do to secure your own ruck ball is jump ontop of the tackler? Dumb as nails mate.If the next Force player had just set in the ruck that would have been the end of it. But if you go for the ball and you have a player in the road you'll be pinged.

It was the right call. The problem is all the fuck around to get there. Same with the high shot - just takes them so long to get to it. There must have be close to 10 phases between that clearly high and probably red tackle and the time it took for them to stop the whole fucking game and look. And just like that yet again the referee not only makes a poor decision but overrules the TMO. But thankfully there will be zero explanation from Super Rugby officialdom and zero consequences for the same referees killing the season.
Force would never get a try like that. Doleman. Kiwi ref.Doleman overriding the TMO. Don't see that often. Tough call.
I am curious though - what would've happened if the Force had scored in that passage of play (which they weren't toooo far off)?Actually - to be honest I think ultimately it wasn't that bad. Doleman thought he saw a knock on live and let it play until the next break. Makes sense.
He's been alright otherwise.
