I haven't had a chance to watch this yet but it seems like it's really going to confirm my opinion from last week that the 2025 Hurricanes are a deeply unserious team incapable of closing out games that have been served up to them on a platter.

This is either the greatest brain explosion of all time or warrants further investigation around match betting. I’ll go with the brain explosion theory.

It is reasonably correct. Harkin who threw the stupid pass should not of bee=ing playing really. He's just an average to good NPC player at this stage, only added to squad because of so many injuries to 10s and 15s.

Interesting that noone has noted the contact that seemed to happen to PUJ , that resulted in him being replaced with head injury. Inoticed it when happened, but think the ref said TMO had looked etc, so guess it ok. Just thought it may of got some comment.

As you would expect, I have mixed feelings about the draw. On the one hand we got out of jail a bit, because the Canes were all over us in the second half. On the other we could have chanced our arm with a kick to the corner in the last few minutes. This is a game that in previous seasons we would have lost though, so there’s that.

I thought Murphy let the hurricanes get away with a lot at the ruck but it was a hell of an exciting game and I'm not even mad.

Aren't the Force in NZ for a couple of weeks ? I know they have to do a bit of extra travelling, but when they are based in the back of beyond there it can't really be helped can it? Ok the facts are that the east coast of Aus/NZ teams probably have an advantage in travel, but they can't move away to make it even.

Big Test over the next 2 weeks to know if they are a proper good side or just another Tahs. Last game in NZ they had 55 put on them right?

Watching the highlights back - the penalty the 'Canes gave away to let the Force draw level was such a dumb play. Straight in the side and continued holding when off their feet - dead centre from the goal.

Kind of agree, I know it had been pretty well anything goes ot breakdown until then, but if you need to be extra careful that's the time.
