Shame they had some utter shellackings which would have turned some crowd off leading into this one against top place. Wish a real juicy one saw that live.

Ugly 2nd half but massive guts to defend their line for the last 10 minutes. Perfect reaction to the capitulation last week. Their grafters (Sinclair, Adamson, Walton) were massive, with Walton playing the best I've ever seen (to a level I didn't think he was capable of). They deserve to enjoy it but a trip to Fiji next week doesn't really give them a chance.

The points distribution for this game was certainly strange - a chiefs player getting all the Tahs points, and some bloke called Leckie got all the Chiefs ones.
