^ knows how to close a game out, something Kemara nor Reihana can (yet?) do. That said I'd persevere with either of the younger guys starting & JOC (James O'Connor) finishing.

Glad to see Sullivan slotting straight into fullback. His kicking game is a huge asset, especially if it will be wet. Clarke's carrying power will be missed in close. Perhaps Lam could be used at times. Though Lam should also be running pretty hard at Dave and his cooked achilles. Is Aumua still wobbling around? Could be a rare instance where Rieko can make some actual midfield breaks, not through guile and cunning, but by simply being faster than wobbly Aumua.

idk if there's some obscure rule that prevents selecting Suafoa and Good Christie in the same team but it seems odd to me that they've rarely been selected together despite both playing well. Especially with the 6-2 split. Big challenge for Patrick's younger brother to debut off the bench against one of/the best propping corps in the competition.

After the shitshow that was the Blues effort at Eden Park vs Crusaders a month ago it's time for more punishment

Can pretty much predict how this game will go

Crusaders set piece dominance plus Blues poor discipline = penalties to Crusaders - kick to corner - maul

I don't give Blues much hope but I'm hopeful they'll put on a better performance than the return fixture at Eden Park where Blues were woeful and Crusaders didn't need to be much better.
