Without putting words in anyone's mouth, the problem with Beaugan is that he's no longer 2012-18, twice World Rugby POTY Beaugan.

There's the occasional instance of the old Beaugan e.g. AB v England T1 cameo last year, try v Brums last week, but mostly it's aimless kicks & passing to guys in a worse position than him.

Was an all-time great as you say but no longer. Time to move on & has been since even before the most recent stint in Japan.

Could you potentially even narrow that 2012-18 band. Wasn't he pretty much a bench player until all the real big dogs retired around 2015? Then he had his moment to shine and fell away pretty quickly after the POTY peaks.

Dismal ostensibly despises Beauden for the crimes of theft of wages and game time committed against the blues. Not since Rocky at the brummies 2011 has such warwagecrimes been commited.

I despise Beauden because since 2015 "Go Beaudy" still rings in my ears and his shiteating grin after scoring a late try to sink the wallabies again and again is etched into my retinas.
