“If we didn't lose that Force game”……Ah… the famous….. IF..!
Well now its less if than who cares. Credible last week and winning at a place where all Aus teams struggle to win at is huge.

I will leave it to the Blues fans in the thread to dissect their performance but I would suggest it wasnt great... though a decent portion of that was forved by the Brums being good. Sotutu missing was massive too given how hes bitched us in recent years.

Brumby Runner’s man Meredith had a great game too. Lot to like about his play. Well done Brumbies and Australian rugby!

I picked this one. the Brumbies played average at best. their defence and grit in the second half very good but their attack was poor. they have some of Australia's best backs but they just don't get any space due to the way the brumbies are playing. great win and shows there has been a massive shift in super rugby 2025

Congrats Brumbies fans.

Deserved winners

As a Blues fan that second half was a slow motion car crash. Could just see it happening but couldn't stop it.

Some lovely touches by Meredith.

Breakdown, kicking game and lineout dominance won Brumbies the game. It was comical seeing Reimer come on when Blues forwards were MIA at breakdown time.

Not the most attractive rugby but Goddard's box kicks were super effective.

Blues scored some lovely tries in the first half it was terrific seeing Beauden run the ball instead of kicking it.

Finlay Christie haha... what can you say....the guy is such a punishing watch and he plays the majority of minutes. Only he could turn a clean break up to the Brumbies 22 into a try to the Brumbies down the other end. Blues are gonna get a spanked by the Chiefs next week.

Ironically I thought Beaudan going off left you guys completely rudderless. Up to that point you'd been carving the Brumbies wide defence up at will.

Excruciating viewing. Keen D from both but a bit of a cripple fight really. Neither team seemed to know how to win

F*****ING Ranga Christie, I just do not understand his selection. No way the Blues can ever run downhill when they have the handbrake on for a flat level field. F*** OFF.

ACT with their usual fundamentally sound and well-drilled 7/10 brand of rugby football. Excellent kick contesters and they smelled blood at the dysfunctional Blues ruck.

The Blues an idiotic rabble veering between Scorching Flashes of 10/10 Blitzkrieg Paremoremo Jailbreak Rugby and 2/10 Discombobulated Infants Lost On A Farm Paddock.

He's become sarcastically bad. Well and truly back to the depths of when he was the Hurricanes meme reserve who'd come on and lose them games. Except it was funny when it happened to them. Nock and Riccitelli should play 80 minutes regardless.

And find someone else to occupy openside until Papali'i returns as Segner is undersized for mine. Choat is also a smaller loosie but has that small dog energy to make it work off the bench as an impact player. Just go full Top 14 and run with five locks/blindsides behind the front-rowers if needs be.

EDIT: jk. There's literally no locks or loosies left. RIP.

Seriously .. we had a better game then the chiefs... We went 21 nill vs the force and was our first game ... Force are good.. but you think we been poor

I had a yarn with Blake Schoupp during one of the fans on the field sessions last year, nice fella and enjoyed that there were fans out there that appreciate a good scrum. Really happy to see him play well after last year's injuries
Yeah he is a special individual with immense talent. He played so well tonight along with Pollard and Feao, hopefully he puts together an injury free season for the Brums and gets back into the Wallabies.

so many handling errors. didn't look good once when it went past 13. it was actually a very force like performance haha. Brumbies won by grit and heart in that second half

I know Meredith kicked well, but the Brums backs looked like they'd never met before for most of that game. Part of that was individual errors from Ikitau that he has never made before but the combinations are miles off.

Which after that win is a good thing as theres plenty of improvement in them.

He's a ranga.
Therefore he has no soul.
Thus, any criticism just slides right past him.

Solid win by the Brumbies. Better balanced pack, and would be thankful Beaugan Barrett went off at halftime because he looked seriously in form*

The Blues pack did not look balanced, and had no on-ballers. A couple of players worked hard and the rest just did dumb, lazy shit.

Blues scored from a missed tackle here and there.

Ponies scored from sheer hard work and better kicking.

I read with surprise that Rory Scott has 32 caps for ACT. Seems to always be a newbie but fk me dead he put some bigger men to shame tonight.

*except his goal kicking. FMD what a terrible attempt that penalty was. I could have gotten closer.

Just finished watching the game on replay. Cracking game and cracking results for the Brumbies. And with a well earned scrum penalty - awesome.

Enjoy it Brumby fans - well done.
