Week 4: both on Saturday 8/03

16:35 NZDT Drua v Chiefs - Lautoka

19:05 Moana v Hurricanes - Albany

Was going to post last week that Moana's move to Albany appears to be a consequence of Auckland Council's plan to have regular-season Blues, Blues women & Auckland NPC & Farah Palmer Cup matches at Mount Smart which you'd otherwise think would be Moana's natural home. Still believe they'd be better off at Pukekohe than up on the Shore.

Blues looked much better when Plummer went off. I really thought he had been very average in the 3 games. Not all his fault by any means, there a few who are coasting I think.
But anyway good on them, let's see if it can kick start their season.

Would be interesting to see Plummer paired with a proper 9.

Christie was horrendous

Moana v Tribe in Week 6 transferred to Pukekohe due to "logistical issues" with it being played in Tonga as scheduled.

I'll be interested to see how many Moana supporters make the trip down Great South Road for it.

Interested to see MP (Moana Pasifika)'s game against Chiefs has been moved from Tonga to Pukekohe (listening to WOB?). Some logisyical problems being mentioned.
Just heard on news that an outbreak of dengue fever may have some bearing.

Why do they let the grass grow so long? Home team, you think it'd suit their pacey helter skelter style to cut it short.

Back in the day the players & spectators would do a pre-match sweep of the ground to clear it of rocks. I guess leaving the grass a bit long at least means there's no exposed rocks for people to rip themselves open on.

Drua really coming home over the top of the Chiefs here. They're in that grove they get into at home and I don't think the Chiefs have enough left in the tank to knock them out of it.
