There are a couple players who I feel in this regard are certainly unsung heroes. Whilst they are not notorious within the GPS competition unlike some of the names I'm seeing on this list I do believe that they do deserve some recognition.
Ethan Hamilton- Pretty hard to miss in the games with his bright red headgear. Although he is not as heavy as his opposing 2nd rowers, his ability to move quickly and efficiently around the field in both offence and defense is something he has over every 2nd rower in the GPS, whilst his pack buddy Ed Baxter is certainly a behemoth and makes his presence known in devastating hits and carries, Ethan's ability to continuously work around the field is unmatched as well as his, almost perfect record in lineouts and huge hits in defense.
Lewis Kingdom- A fair bit smaller than his opposing outside centers, however his remarkable understanding of the game, excellent vision and consistently low chop tackles definitely provides no mismatch. It is also to my knowledge that he was in the u18 NSW 7s side which is evident in his unpredictable movements with the ball in hand, his ability to beat defenders in space shocks audiences as he shrugs of opponents much larger then himself (probably to the credit of SHORE's new gym facilities), I'd definitely keep an eye on him throughout the competition.
Angus Reardon- Also quite a ways smaller than the other number 8s in the comp but his speed and tenacity on the field makes up for it, it seems as though he always finds a way to steal the ball from the opposition along with his lightning quick reflexes and fitness allowing him to make an appearance everywhere on the field, although he rarely see's the ball during games, his low body height and strength allows him to make gain line every time he carries the ball around the ruck.

A lot of commentary on here about players, but who is best coach in GPS?? Toby L’Estrange’s ability to squeeze the most out of the View boys over the last few seasons, particularly against much more highly rated opposition, would surely have him up there. Can’t help wondering what has methods and game plans would do for talent rich squads like a Scots this year.

"Pretend inferiority and encourage his arrogance" comes to mind when I read this for some reason.Big game for shore on thursday, if the forecast is true with rain it should be an extremely easy win for the shore boys. Joeys have been playing extremely sloppy lately especially with the rain.

Despite his size seems to be one of the better wingers in the competition this year, similar to Folkes (I) who as well is not the biggest player but is playing very well and using his speed to his advantage, even when he matched up against Makasini from new who is a lot bigger he played excellent.

TKS 2ND there are A LOT of talented players there. TKS #13 that played in their 1ST XV ( Adam Stewart) was from the 2nd and he was sensational last weekend!! Stand out for me from TKS 2nd is Perrett (He plays #8 and last week was #4) #10 Taylor, #11 El-Kurdi even their #1 Matthews IMO.

True, that would be hard if a master was being so shallow. it was surprising for me to see that the Shore teams were better drilled top to bottom In the younger age groups than New, but New are also owing the waterpolo and basketball at the moment so there’s that. You can’t be all things to all people, and the school is ‘distracted’ by some issues at the moment. The old boys networks can be a blessing and a curse getting upset about HSC results or rugby or whatever. I just hope the boys grow up capable of being ‘humble in victory and gracious in defeat’. Character development should be the higher order goal in school sports. (Hope I haven’t pissed anyone off, Im a few red wines in)
