It is BBC. Fantastic Coach who helped turn Laurie's around.

Each club goes through these periods where certain sections of their supporters need to be pulled into line. The Glue Factory has been ordinary for the last couple of years. Identity the problem children and suspend them for a while. Next month it will be another club.

Reasonably strong. Have a few in the firsts this year. Quite a few strong year 10 players coming thru including the younger brother of twin Sydney Rooster recruits. Padua will definitely be favorites next year though.

Marist 29-20 over Lauries. Hats off to the Laurie's coaching staff. In 2018 they were a basket case. First loss since 2019, that is a pretty impressive record.

Is that because GPS are playing Wests?

Yes and No. The last few years for Laurie's below the opens has been very lean. The firsts coaching set up however is outstanding and the results have followed. You would think the next couple of years in the opens will be lean, however, the head coach has the knack of getting the firsts well...

At what point did I compare this Marist with any other team? They played well today. I give a team a wrap, therefore my son must be in the team. Lol. No Roger my son isn't in this team. I wrapped Padua and Villa a couple of weeks ago as well. I must have a few sons running around.

Marist 39-13 over St Peter's. The last twenty minutes by the Marist backline was outstanding. Great long range tries. Not bad for a "twiggy" backline.

Sorry mate but I have to disagree. The boys get the opportunity to play AFL, Rugby then Rugby League across three terms. How brilliant. Anyone who has attended a Confraternity Carnival in Rugby League will understand how wonderful this carnival is. Outstanding footy, not a cross word on the...

Villa have a bit of history of over hyping their kids. The "I Believe" campaign in 2019 was pretty embarrassing and placed a huge amount of pressure on their players. Not to mention the over excited parental group. Less time on social media and a bit more time teaching humility would help.

Padua defended beautifully with a well executed game plan. Marist had the opportunity to score on at least 5 occasions but bombed it. Good win by Padua.

Red are you really a Laurie's Old Boy? Why the grief with Richard Graham? Hopefully he has researched track and field training on you tube so MCA can have continued athletics success.

Reds Brad, I see the "traditional easy beat" comment regarding Villa. They have been steadily improving over the course of the last few years, in particular the junior grades. Gone are the days of Marist winning every age level. It is a good thing IMO.

They did a 6 week program for the year 5's up to opens in term 1 as well. It was well received.
