I wonder if he's worried about England getting blitzed at the breakdown? It's the first game for the poms in a while, while the Wallabies have been playing for months now and are more battle hardened.
Edit: Either way, fuck em, it's the poms. They deserve to be clobbered at the breakdown.
I've seen a few shockers in my time, but this game has been the worst officiated game I have ever had the displeasure to watch. Absolutely fucking disgraceful.
Yeah I think the ABs should save him for the spring tour, besides, there's nothing wrong with Christie...
Might also be worth giving Reiko another run outside of Proctor in the Bled too, just to be sure it doesn't work.
Upon watching the replay, it's really clear that Tupou was struggling with the heat. he's generally not the most accurate player as it is, and a few of the general play penalties he copped looked like fatigue. I'm not surprised he didn't come back out after half time. As a positive, he did well...
Recently got home from the game, was a cracker. Atmosphere was great.
Haven't fully dissected the game yet, but Bell was good when he came on. Frost got through a mountain of work and the backrow was exceptional.
Argentina have some really slick outside backs and will regularly get outside...
I see your point, but even with additional hydration breaks the heat and humidity can seriously knock you about if you aren't used to it. It's a major advantage and a good reason to play games in Townsville more often!
Townsville just had it's first bit of moderate rain in months, and there's a bit of cloud cover about too. Humidity has been hovering at about 70-80% recently, and the rain has kicked it up a bit. Will likely be a bit humid if this cloud cover hangs about into tomorrow and probably be quite warm...
Newcastle and Adelaide can get stuffed!
Seriously though, while it does look like tickets for tomorrow are moving now, I'd been keeping an eye on the site and tickets had been moving really slowly. They've had to drop the prices significantly in some sections, which seems to have pushed the...
Townsville had their grand final over the weekend as well for all grades, the wallabies showed up there. That's just as important as showing up to an already well supported Shute Shield or QPR grand final, as it does wonders for engagement in the regions.
