DC, He is a huge unit with a good skillset, BUT he doesn't have the aggression necessary, or the natural ability to play lock that Eales (ability) or Vickerman's aggression. Unless things change, he will be on the bench as a good finisher against the Lions.

My take is it is mainly down to the training at the Crusaders, he's admitted it's a lot harder than Qld.

I think that is a very conservative approach to an area that needs aggression at some level. If Swain was red carded over a serious incident again this season then it might be an issue. The red card he got v Eng was was due mostly to that pommie drop kick, who has not been seen in England...

Not big enough, nor has had an impact this season that I have seen. I wouldn't pencil in any locks, as we are lacking real quality.

I am not convinced that Williams has done enough to be included. I was impressed with his skill set and work rate last year, looks like both have fallen away. LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) goes well one week and bounces of everyone the week after. I suspect we have an issue in the row? Thank Christ! we have Bobby V at 6...

Any ideas on locks? I can't get my head around who should be in the W's, one week one stands up the next week it's someone else.

Good point Slim, and I thought the same thing, but then he missed a couple of one-on-ones and I figured his day could be done. Been an excellent FB for the Wallabies.

16 misses out of 40 is not good. Thus my thought that his Wallaby days are behind him if he doesn't lift. I suspect Kurtley Beale would have similar stats as his D has never been strong.

I have watched him several times this season, he looks a better prospect than Kellaway, who has not performed well in the Tahs. Kellaway seems slow and his strong D seems to have slipped.

There is an interesting article regarding Les Kiss and the Wallabies. A bit negative, but needs to be discussed. https://www.rugbypass.com/plus/elegant-or-turbulent-can-les-give-the-wallabies-the-kiss-of-life/

Drew, I suspect Kellaway is past his time in the Wallabies. I think Mac Grealy will be in front of him.

    Reds @ Fiji - 12:05 Saturday 03/05

Your view is what the majority thinks and reflects what I was referring to MT. Too young for pro-sport. I, very reluctantly, refer you to Derpus' post re games played in Europe.

    Reds @ Fiji - 12:05 Saturday 03/05

If you play most games either colts of grade from 18 you should be around 40 games at 21. The problem we have is an ageist approach to senior rugby where they are considered 'babies' at 20.

Brumbies v Waratahs Rd 12 Sat 3rd May @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEST

I think we may know, but we are hoping. I would love to see the Reds win it, but who knows? It ain't an easy season to judge any team on.
