Wallabies v Lions - 3rd Test, Accor Stadium, Saturday 2 August

Also think you need a bit of energy, bit of zip to get up for a dead rubber after a tight loss. White will give that in spades if nothing else

Wallabies v Lions Game 2 MCG 26 July

Watching the game back have to give kudos to N Frost. Someone I and others have been quite critical of. He had a quiet blinder doing the job almost single-handedly at the lineout and lots of subtle but big plays on both sides of the board. Him and Skelton make a good pairing.

Said it last night, Fisher has to go. Schmidt, Cron are doing a great job. But the defensive system is just ridiculous, if a team has enough go forward they just walk through us because we are willingly going backwards. No modern team defends like we do.

What a night. Awesome to see Melbourne be a rugby city. Absurd there’s no team here professionally but that’s another story. cant help but feel if we had a player like meafou come on to replace Skelton it would be a different story. But again, a different story, for another time

Tbh I am fairly along with the idea that Valetini or Skelton didn’t have that much in them. You don’t sit out test 1 of a lions series unless you have a proper injury. And we have a long season ahead. It’s fristrating but that’s a coaches job. Other places I’d be looking before the sub timings

Having said that the scrum refereeing was woeful. Genges elbow was all over the ground in second half. So frustrating

Wallabies v Lions Game 2 MCG 26 July

Can’t change my mind that fishers defensive system lost us the game. Its woeful. Every time they had front foot ball they walked over us. Because our system has us running backwards

Wallabies v Lions Game 2 MCG 26 July

Simplistic way to look at things but I would say the Wallabies on paper have gotten a fair bit better, and the Lions may have gone marginally backwards. Porter can be close to woeful at scrum time, and I hope AAA is licking his lips at that match up. Ryan has been doing his best Nick Frost...

    Lions Tour 2025

I can't see them not coming to Australia in all honesty. It makes a stupid amount of money, has the biggest stadiums, the most expats and let's be honest amongst friends a safer + more appealing touring destination then NZ or SA in the winter. Anecdotally my rugby friends in the UK (have a few)...

Wallabies v Lions Game 2 MCG 26 July

Lynagh is a good player with the skills to be a top 10. However, like every young half who isn't Dan Carter, his success at Test level will be dependent on a combination of selection consistency, environment, cohesion and frankly a bit of luck. The wallabies have been unable to provide that in a...

Wallabies v Lions Game 2 MCG 26 July

Yes I have been saying this Even if it can frustrate, as a pure rugby fan, I prefer BOK style of reffing. It emphasises the player's winning the game, and generally the dominant physical team willing to play on the edge wins out under BOK. This IMO is how the game should be reffed. Much prefer...

First Nations & Pasifika XV vs the Lions - Tue, Jul 22 @ 8:00 PM, Melbourne

does debreczeni have the best boot of any australian 10? his ability to find grass consistently with long low kicks should be mandatory viewing in wobs camp.

Said this elsewhere...but whilst it can be a bit annoying I'd much prefer BOK wild west style of refereeing to the overly pedantic NH style. At least the former can generally get some type of consistency, it is just impossible to catch everything if you insist on constantly blowing the game up...

some pretty random names on both benches for this one...the finishing 30 will be a fiendish future trivia question.
