Rugby Championship 2025 : South Africa v Australia Round 2

I’ll give you 13-10 Marce, sliding doors come in after that and play would have been up the other end. Even better though would have been if Doleman got the call right leading up to McReight’s try and it should have been 14-13 to us.

    Waratahs 2026

Hypothetically if they were talking to Angus Crichton would that be for 2026 or 2027?

    Aussie Player Exodus

I'm just learning AI (Co-pilot) so I asked the question : Estimated Size of Diaspora Nation Estimated Diaspora Population Key Destinations Scotland 28–40 million (some estimates go up to 80 million) USA, Canada, Australia, England, New Zealand, Argentina Wales ~1.8 million (more...

    Wallabies 2025

absolutely he will be talking to them. They were asking him about it on WWOS on Sunday and he was pretty clearly avoiding answering the questions!

Rugby Championship 2025 : South Africa v Australia Round 2

i saw the team release earlier and thought it felt like both Kolbe and Le Roux had been playing for 20 years.

    Wallabies 2025

He wants to play pro rugby before he retires, it’s on his bucket list. It may or may not be in Australia though, I guess it’s where he sees the best opportunity. That said, he is setting up for his post footy life in Sydney so maybe a Tahs deal would be enticing. I’m not suggesting in any way...

    Waratahs 2026

Easy fix - sign Skelton at lock and move Matt Phillip to the back row.

    Wallabies 2025

My heart tells me that he feels he has banked enough coin from playing overseas and he has a deep connection to Australian rugby and will risk his foreign contract to be a part of the resurgence of the Wallabies and help lift the trophy in Sydney in 2027. My head tells me the same thing. He...

    Wallabies 2025

They were very real at the time though. The thumping by Wales to take us out of the 2023 WC and put us at #10 did feel like rock bottom though, and the requisite reset was promptly forthcoming. I think the bigger concern was about the future of the code in this country, but with some cash in...

Rugby Championship 2025: South Africa v Australia

Can someone explain the rationale behind the midfield 'lineout'? All I could work out was it took 3 players to catch the pass.

Rugby Championship 2025: South Africa v Australia

JAS isn't getting moved to the wing - sure, he's missing some defensive reads but they are building a centre combination for 2027, he has the skill and intelligence to get on top of it, they'll persist with him there in the interest of the long game.

Rugby Championship 2025: South Africa v Australia

I think altitude had a bit to do with this - yes, they had all week training for it but with the speed and intensity of the opening stanza the ball movement would have been at a level they aren't used to under match conditions. Then they got used to it a bit, combined with the speed of the game...

Rugby Championship 2025: South Africa v Australia

Even at 22-0 down I was starting to get this feeling about the whole side. What an amazing comeback, I’m feeling pretty good this morning, going to be a good day.
