Well he's replacing Rieko so it's essentially like for like in that regard. You would like to think Carter should have been putting in extras over the past 2 months trying to improve in this area. I guess we'll see on Saturday. I like the team - pleased they moved Jordan - good to see Love in...

I believe the Warriors wanted to avoid a clash. This reeks of V'landys being a muppet

Auckland finally get a win Excellent showing from Che Clark - hopefully something of a breakthrough performance from him.

Backline wise I would look to get Caleb Clarke into the 11 shirt and Ruben Love into the 23. I would also like to see Leicester given a chance at some point - perhaps at 13 in place of Proctor. One positive for the backs is Quinn Tupaea - he's an excellent bench impact player. Easy to forget it...

Looked like he got a knee to the ribs going for a high ball. Nothing sinister.

Vaai can clap as much as he likes if he's going to play that well. Perhaps finally found a 6 in Parker. He was quite sensational. An AB loose forward trio with actual balance. It's been a while. The backline is still a total mess. Hopefully Narawa isn't hurt too bad. Tupaea shows the likes...

Supposedly Narawa instead of Reece is the only backs change. Some shuffling in the forwards.

Did Fakatava run over someone's cat? I see Leicester F is into the squad as injury cover

The whole Auckland NPC set up is a total mess. Former players who have no coaching credentials whatsoever are in the set up (Jono Hickey) meanwhile their scouting is abysmal - they favour the academy players over proven club players.

Clarke went very well considering it was his first game in a long time and on the wing for a terrible team. He tried hard all game - he won 2 turnovers - one by creating a maul and another at the breakdown. He ran hard when he got the chance. One of the very few positives for Auckland.

Cantab get decent crowds for day games but Otago and Auckland get fuck all. Auckland actually got a decent little crowd when they played at Bell Park Pakuranga couple of years ago - they need to do that more. I believe they are playing a game at Auckland Grammar at some stage this year.

He did score the best Super Rugby try ever vs Crusaders the following year (and kicked the conversion and gave an up yours to the crowd).

Essentially the numbers are solid outside of the main 5 Super Rugby centres Taranaki have also reopened one of their main stands this year which will significantly contribute to their increase crowd figure. I like what Wellington have done in shifting games to Porirua - a much more suitable...

He'll rejoin the ABs right after the Auckland game. If anything this strengthens the likelihood that he will play vs Boks. He hasn't played a game in 2 months - he needs a hit out.

Auckland put out a graphic last week that he was 1-2 weeks away so expected him to play this weekend and I can see he has been released by the ABs for Auckland.
