    Refereeing decisions

Only if you firmly believe, that referees think they are 100% correct, the first time, every time - and that in fact they don’t privately go away and review the game or decision and ever - upon reflection - determine that if they had another go they’d make another decision without needing to...

Nup - we won’t see it unless its to clear up confusion in the law or its language is my guess from a technical perspective rather than putting specific decisions under the microscope.

    Refereeing decisions

I don’t really have a strong opinion either way on this - but regardless of what a number of fans “dont want”, the problem is what a large number of fans did - which the last time they issued a clarification basically drove the guy who outside of a single decision was one of the best we’ve ever...

    RWC 2027 Australia

No way am I buying a superfan ticket if all you guys are - last thing I need is to dox myself and reveal who the nuff behind the 'board is.

Does this mean that you're just paying $750 to skip the queue per se? Are you then forking out another $xx per ticket you decide to get?

Wallabies v Lions Game 2 MCG 26 July

3 - Andre 2 - Ben 1 - Nika (which is a lucky pick honestly since he's given us nothing to write about).

Wallabies v Lions Game 2 MCG 26 July

Based on the Reds hit out I'd day Paisami probably would move the needle. 12: Hunter, 13: Len, 14: Joe

    Refereeing decisions

Yep, but again change the contact point and it's play on - no question. We don't determine someone is off feet because they would have been if not for the person they hit hard - when they otherwise arrived legally. If that were the case every time someone removed someone else from a breakdown...

    Refereeing decisions

Yeah agree but playing devils here, the argument is in real speed whether the timing is simultaneous or not. If it's simultaneous and Jac is arriving at the breakdown legally (ie on feet) and Tizzano suddenly appears - then Jac's done nothing wrong (or can't be expected to do more) and we have...

    Refereeing decisions

He's on his feet at the collision point - that's the only requirement for arriving players (excuse the shit photo but it still shows in the moment before contact Jac's on his feet). He hits Tizz in the neck - the only points of conjecture are the timing, and by extension does Jac need to do...

Then we can't accept the black and white premise that all head contact is foul play and a penalty minimum. Any time we see that scenario penalised, its because the referees have seen actions in the tackler (eg: never low enough in the first place to mitigate the risk of danger to the ball carrier).

    Refereeing decisions

Not in the official channel. Accepting I'm wrong with your point 2015 - we still likely need to see something like this, as there have been countless moments like that since that haven't been clarified publicly. Safe to say the fact they lost one of their most experienced referees shortly after...

    Refereeing decisions

Referees making calls in the moment don't immediately reflect the considered view of World Rugby though, and there is absolutely no precedent for world rugby clarifying decisions in post at all unless it's been queried by a union or cited. We have no idea what world rugby thinks right now, or...
