Wallabies v France, 7.00am AEDT Sunday Morning

I guess that is right. Seems as though the squad has been very flat for this EOYT and the coaching surely has something to do with that. At least Joe should bring in a couple of Kiss’ assistant coach choices to start to gel with the team? That might make the transition a little smoother.

Wallabies v France, 7.00am AEDT Sunday Morning

It was a predictable end to a very long year for the squad. The effort was there but not the class or discipline required to go the full 80 mins. Time to let Kiss get his hands on the team to give him plenty of time to shape what he wants before the RWC. Hats off to Schmidt. He has been very...

WTF??? JOC (James O'Connor) sent packing and CG breaks down mid week. Surely they could have kept him around? depressing to say the least. Time for Les Kiss to take the reins.

Wallabies v France, 7.00am AEDT Sunday Morning

I saw on another rugby blog that our win percentage when Gordon starts is in the teens under Schmidt and that it is over 50% when he does not start? Not sure of the source. Food for thought. I’d guess that Lonergen is the most similar option to White and that Tate walks back into the 23 when...

Ireland v Wallabies, Saturday 15/11 (Sunday morning Aus time)

We are going to have CG, Tom Lynagh, Donaldson, Lolesio, JOC (James O'Connor) from the current crop and maybe 2-3 other up and comers that advance. I am certain there would or should be a spot for JOC (James O'Connor) as the 3rd option/coach. QC (Quade Cooper) has been out of the setup too long and is difficult to work with when it starts to...

I guess it means that CG is available? I would have JOC (James O'Connor) on the pine to back him up. There is no one better to close out a game or slide in at 12 if needed. JOC (James O'Connor) is in good nick and fit. He could easily make it through to the RWC as one of the 10 options.

Horses for courses. I reckon you have Gleeson and Tizzano as options. Tizzano can have a huge impact in the right game. Gleeson too. Could use another 6/8 option coming through

He was inaccurate a few times throwing lazy passes that went low, also the chuck back after stealing a ball in the maul that just went to no one and put us under more pressure. Coach killers.

    Wallabies 2025

If TT can get fit, and he will playing week in and out in France, then he may be his best self at the RWC.

It’s a small second row. I would have had Frost and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) with Williams off the bench. He has played his best footy from there this year. I guess he needed to squeeze both Hooper and Valetini in to start? As an aside, I feel our best 10 combination right now is CG and JOC (James O'Connor). JOC (James O'Connor) is looking good and...

Ireland v Wallabies, Saturday 15/11 (Sunday morning Aus time)

Carter Gordon showed enough to suggest he is a decent upgrade on any 10 we have seen this year. Unfortunately Paisami was not the best at 12. With Lenny at 12 Gordon should shine with Sualli, Jorgo and eventually Wright outside them. Gordon needs someone who will be on his hip when he makes a...

I’d keep Ikitau and JAS together in the centres with either CG or JOC (James O'Connor) at 10. Bring in Pietsch and Jorgo at 14/15. We really need to beef up the pack. Start AAA, Pollard, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) and a backrow of Hooper, McReight and Valetini. Tizzano, TT and Williams to add juice off the bench

    Wallabies 2025

It looks as though Carter Gordon is a very good prospect at 10 moving forward. Lonergen is a high level goal kicker and is very fast at the base. Play them together from this point on.

We need JAS. He is one our very few players capable of opening up the game for us at any time.

Ireland v Wallabies, Saturday 15/11 (Sunday morning Aus time)

Well at least JS has a pretty good idea what Ireland will be trying to do. Whether or not we can counter it is an entirely different matter. JOC (James O'Connor) getting a call probably means CG is in doubt? I’d love to see Gordon, Ikitau and JAS working together. CG has the ability to unlock the men outside and...
