I’d guess Tizzano is the fall back option in the backs if needed and is dynamite in that last quarter. Pollard is good for 70 mins if needed. We need better line speed to put more pressure on their 9 and 10 when kicking. Breakdown pressure too.

Valetini could go into the row or Wilson for that matter if we just want pace at the back end.

Wilson and Valetini are serviceable. I would have had Hooper in place of Tizzano on the bench. He was very good last week.

It’s a long season ahead. He will be included soon I reckon, along with a few others. Canham is a good young prospect but LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) has shown he is perfectly capable of starting right now. We are going to need some beef against SA. Attitude is gold.

Tough on Fez but his throwing was a little off. Not convinced Porecki is ideal against a big mobile pack? Lineout needs to be fixed though and made to work when Skelton is on the paddock. Wilson, Valetini and Gleeson are all reasonable targets.

It was interesting how Pollock targeted Uru in the game yesterday. Uru being one of the least aggressive players. He wasn’t having it. Bell, Skelton, Valetini, Gleeson and even Paisami just would not let it go unchecked. They need to protect whoever the 10 is.

I know that this team will not be trotted out because JAS has only played 13/15. He should have always started as a winger and been given time at 13 and 15 later in Super Rugby. We need physicality and people playing in their best positions. Forwards need to effective in the carry from the start.

It’s not happening. We did have some very good young prospects coming through along with Tom Lynagh. I imagine that it will be him and a couple of those come RWC. I agree that we stick with him and make sure he has the right personnel around him.

If JAS is on the wing it’s easier to move him around. They cannot change the structure too much in a week so its unlikely it will happen but with Paisami in the midfield at 12 and Ikitau and JAS out one place wider it might work better. I know Paisami gets hammered in here as well but he was...

Jones did the same with Australia in the RWC taking Gordon and Donaldson when he had the likes of Lolesio,Cooper and Foley available. We all know how that turned out.
