Don't like to talk about myself on here but just wanted to congratulate myself on bringing up my half century with 50 points. A big achievement for me especially with all the scrutiny I faced in my early days. Thanks to all my friends and family who supported me along the way. JJ

Harlem Faalafi (Padua), Darcy Kerr (Villa), Harry Taylor (Lauries), Mitch Wallis (St Pat's), and Archie Searle (Marist) are a couple of names that I'll be watching very closely next year. Expecting big things from these boys. JJ

Problem is that no one wants a rugby scholarship to an AIC school. Need the quality of rugby at these schools to improve before good players will be interested in coming there. JJ

Who do we think wins if the best AIC school (Marist/Padua) versus the worst GPS school (Grammar). Personally I reckon it'd be a pretty close game but I think AIC would just get up. JJ

ATA that's just a stupid assumption. Just cause AIC didn't start till 1999, didn't mean there wasn't footy played before that. What do you think they did in 1998, read books? Don't be silly. And what harm is there in reminiscing about the good old days. As Dr Suss would say, "Don't cry cause...

Yes I do remember Steven Case, graduated a few years after myself. In his prime there was no one that could stop him. To say he dominated the AIC would be an understatement. We all thought we had another John Eales on our hands. Haven't heard of the bloke since. Wonder where he is today.

Well said ATA. We've aged like fine wine when it comes to our footy knowledge. Shame the same can't be said about our appearance. Think we've probably sunk a few too many on Saturday arvo's watching some quality schoolboy footy. Think we might need to start hitting the gym to keep up with all...

I'm surprised you knew how to find this website Jaggers in your old age. Good to see we've still got some older forumists passionate about their footy. Would be keen to meet up with you at a game next year to chat footy. JJ

Jaggers can I ask you what school you went to back in the day? Just want to make sure your not part of the schoolboy takeover thats happened in the past few months.

Hey jaggers. A couple of names that I'll be looking out for come May next year: Darcy Kerr (fullback- made u16's emerging cup this year) Alex Borger (halfback- had a good season this year and is a sharpshooter off the tee) Rocco Tanks (don't know much about this young fella but heard good...

Agreed. I think Villa have a good chance this year and wouldn't be surprised if they take it out. Good team on paper and have the spirit to go along with it. Does anyone know what round Marist vs villa is? I reckon this could be the premiership decider. JJ

Anyone know if Runcorn will be ready to go next year? Looks like it's in the midst of some pretty heavy reno's (good to see as that place was turning into a shi*hole). Those fields had less atmosphere than a dentist waiting room. JJ

@Roman Maivia do you have a problem? Starting to look like an emoji merchant big fella. Would love to hear a bit of input from you.

Well said ATA. Let's get back to footy talk. I'd be keen to hear some ladder predictions for next year. I'll start us off: 1. Marist 2. Villa 3. Padua 4. Lauries 5. Iona And who cares about the bottom 3: 6. Pats 7. Eddies 8. Peters JJ

ATA, pls mistake me if that's the wrong Tarra but that looks like a fair bit of jungle to me. I'm sure you don't live in that hole but my condolences to any aspiring footy players in the area. Rumour is they practice their chop tackles on the kangas hopping around in the area. JJ
