    Wallabies 2025

Cheika is the answer on a short 2 year contract thru to the end of the WC with Kiss and co as his assistants. Cheika can then hand over to Kiss. Cheika is by far the most experienced and successful internationally of all the local candidates and has the runs on the board at Rugby World Cups.

    Super Rugby R4 2025: Waratahs v Force @ SFS, Saturday 8 March

I thought I read somewhere that McKellar was quoted as saying that he chose Creighton to help unlock the backline. He’ll hold his spot for this week’s game.

    Super Rugby R4 2025: Waratahs v Force @ SFS, Saturday 8 March

The backline looked much more functional due to Creighton at 10. For some reason Edmed just couldn’t get them going. Maybe Tane is more suited to 12?

    Waratahs 2025

Too ill disciplined and a liability.

NSW Waratahs v Fijian Drua - Fri 28 Feb 2025 7:30pm Allianz Stadium

As well as Edmed played in the ITM Cup, the standard of the comp, particularly defensively, was a few rungs down from Super Rugby. I think his form in NZ was a bit overhyped. It’s early days with lots of new combinations, so I’m sure the Tahs will soon start to click. There’s too much talent in...

    Waratahs 2025

I can’t imagine Donaldson is losing any sleep over leaving the Tahs. He’s currently playing under a quality coach who seems to know how to get the best out of him. And he’s regularly playing 80 mins in his preferred position at 10 in a team with an expansive, attacking game plan which certainly...

Force v Reds, Round 3 HBF Park, Perth 7:35pm

The various law changes have resulted in more ball in play creating fatigue in the game. The result being attractive attacking rugby taking advantage of tired defences with some big scores being posted. The games this year have been terrific spectacles. The Force are the real deal this year...

Chiefs v Brumbies Rd 3 Saturday 1st March @ FMG Stadium Waikato 2.35 PM AEDT

Many Brumbies supporters were calling for Debreczeni to be selected for the Wallabies last year. He was never a chance. Unlike Lonergan to be inconsistent with his goal kicking. He’s usually very reliable.

NSW Waratahs v Fijian Drua - Fri 28 Feb 2025 7:30pm Allianz Stadium

Bell and Gleeson are on fire. O’Donnell looks solid on his debut. But geez the Waratahs attack is a bit disorganised and pedestrian. Edmed needs to step up otherwise get Bowen on.

Brumbies v Force Rd2 Saturday 22 February GIO Stadium, Canberra 7:35pm

You make a good point. Donaldson seems to have a coach that believes in him and backs him and a game plan that allows him to consistently get his hands on the ball and play instinctively. For an attacking playmaker that is very important. And regularly playing 80 mins each week can’t hurt his...

Reds v Moana Pasifika Rd2 Friday 21 February Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane 7:35pm

He had a terrific game. Strong defensively and kicked all his goals. It is going to be a terrific battle between our young 10’s this year.

    Waratahs v Highlanders, Rd 1, Fri 14 6.35pm 2025

“The Tahs were better once the pigs worked out the backs are shit, so through the middle we go.” How’d that go for them last year? And the year before?

    Waratahs v Highlanders, Rd 1, Fri 14 6.35pm 2025

The Tahs kick first, run second strategy hasn’t changed. With the talent they possess in the backline, why do they insist on kicking away so much possession? It is so conservative. I’m hoping Bowen can spark the backline into action in the 2nd half.

    Waratahs v Highlanders, Rd 1, Fri 14 6.35pm 2025

Plenty of pressure on RA who have stacked the Tahs squad with former Rebels players to make up for last year’s disappointing season and to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Plenty of hype from the media but I’d imagine supporters will be nervous with hope and anticipation.
