Fa’agase. Would be a fairy tale

To answer question 1 - Maybe, but it's impossible to tell how close Samu is to being to perform at Test level anywhere near like he used to. But the reasoning is sound. Maybe it makes sense to go 12. Ikitau 13. JAS 14. Daugunu 22 Donaldson or JOC (James O'Connor) 23 Kerevi? To answer question 2 - Also maybe...

It's annoying that it is hard to gauge how Kerevi is playing. I'm highly attracted to the idea of him in the squad if he's even 80% as good as he was at his peak. He fits well onto the Wallabies bench if they play a 5/3 split with Donaldson there who can cover 10/15 pretty well and our starters...

The reds season has been actually pretty fair when you consider the talent on the sidelines. The demonstration of depth has been impressive. If we have Flook, Campbell, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), Uru, Wright (plus Gibbo, Hodgman etc.) all fit for longer then I think we'd be a strong chance of being a win or two...

If Kiss goes to the Wallabies he’ll take Fisher at least who would be a big loss (his portfolio includes the skills work our forwards are showing enormous improvement in)

Did he not get ~530k a year? Which is great wedge for an unproven 20yr old (and I agree it was overs) but also probably best to check your facts https://www.theroar.com.au/2024/03/26/wonder-kid-offered-3-yr-1-6m-deal-to-stay-in-aussie-rugby-and-why-it-could-see-wallabies-stars-leave-ballymore/

Still an absolute no brainer for guys like Bell and Bobby V (and RA). Easier comp on the body, get paid an absolute packet and get to enjoy the change of scenery renting a flat in Tokyo, but still available for most of the international season. Good option for 2026

That they ever thought that 600k would be enough for one of the world’s best players in his position, when Tupou (who on durability and performance wouldn’t be top 4 in his) was crazy. They’re lucky to get him for 900, and he’s a lay down, true blue, deadset bloody legend for giving up over a...

Aubrey was never anything but underwhelming from what I saw at club and super level. Not clear yet whether Murray is an upgrade though.

I’m really liking what I’m seeing from the Red forwards. The running lines, small footwork efforts, short passing and offloads are a real strength and the coaching staff deserve credit for embedding this in the game plan. The set piece has also been very serviceable. There are some issues with...

Heremaia Murray is a fast and keen player but his error rate is pretty high, and it’s costing the reds points on both sides of the ball. It wouldn’t have been the right thing to do to hold onto Grealy but we’re missing him with Jock out.

So does Kellaway. I’d rather see Kerevi brought in (either at 12 and move the Ikitau and JAS out one, or off the bench). We need to find out if he still has a role to play ASAP so we can work on him or move on.

I actually quite like the idea over next 12-24 months of 11. Daugunu 12. Paisami (but god it wound be good if someone came through to knock him off) 13. Ikitau 14. JS 15. Wright (or Kellaway, or Jorgensen if he gets good enough to knock them both off)

Bummer about Kuenzle. He was looking like he’d really found his home in the midfield, hopefully comes back soon.

    Western Force 2025

    10. Donaldson 11. Pietsch 12. Stewart 13. Kuenzle (pending fitness) 14. Potter 15. Grealy (he’ll go well and you’ll sign him). 21. IFL 22. Pasitoa 23. Burey Reesjan is going to be a gun midfielder if he stays fit.
