Also test against the Poms in 2003 with Nathan Grey at 10, Turinui at 13, Sailor at 14, Latho at 15 and Roff at 11. Only small(ish) bloke was Steve Kefu at 12 (90-odd kg).
SMH reporting JOC (James O'Connor) hasn't travelled with the team to France, so I guess that means Gordon is fit and will start.
Sad if that was JOC (James O'Connor)'s last game in the green and gold - but he'll always have Ellis Park.
God is there anything worse than losing to the Poms? And throw in Austin Healey on comms for the cherry on top.
Didn't think England played that well but they didn't need to. We offered nothing. Scoreline should have been 30+ if Ford hadn't fluffed so many kicks.
This got replayed at least once and O'Connor seemed to be injured from it. Thought it deserved another look by the TMO.
As to the leg twisting on Wright, saw a couple of incidents in the game where the Boks were lifting the legs of players at the ruck above the horizontal, seemed to be a plot...
Also the bench was great.
Bell back to his ways with some immense carries and that ball to Wilson. Tate doing Tate things, such a great runner in traffic. Thought Nonggorr was really involved and big in defence too, strong carries from Gleeson and thought Kellaway was good.
Tupou unfortunately...
Incredible win. We were cooked 15 minutes in and to come back and score 38 points against the Boks at altitude is unreal.
JOC (James O'Connor) was shaky at the start but was huge on defence and threw some incredible passes.Jorgo is a freak and Wright had them in all sorts.
Unbelievable!
Really missed a beat not having him available for either the AUNZ or FNP games to see where he's at. All the talk of the lesser standard of Japan's top league but a quick glance over the Springbok squad for RC and half of them seem to be playing there!
