I agree, but sometimes you need luck to go your way ( happens to all the best sides) …. Now we go away with a lot of effort with nothing to show .. no momentum, no hype, no media or casual fan interest

Exactly, this is where discretion and having a deep understanding of the game, so that when possible the ref shouldn’t intervene and stop the flow…. Or in more basic terms… Don’t be a pedantic , letter of the law asshole.
