Well back to this week, if we expect it to be wet and their coach is smart enough to watch tapes and watched us drop every high ball in keystone cops fashion, what is the solution? Do we stick our giant at 15 at let JAS catch them, with say Pietch & Jorgo on the wings and stick Daugunu @ 13

Looking at the games we have lost with him, Italy is the only game I would considered we had a chance in

The short kicks through the line is one of Gordon's strengths and I remember seeing JAS chasing and catching the things in his early games

As much about our lack of ability to provide any consistent support after a couple of phases if we use too much width. it generally equates to being isolated and turned over Rush defences close those outside channels, 12s become crash ballers as they look up to see defenders all over the wider...

It has been the same for a while, we have 15'ish test quality players and then a substantial drop off, to some who are Super Rugby standard at best We don't play enough hard rugby and it looks too easy to coast, we lament the loss to overseas clubs of average players who gets better by distance

I think we have gone for mobility and the get off your arse attitude - ie workrate The Irish will be well drilled and highly functional I think Frost has been a revelation this year, but he has looked as if he has run out of juice and could be carrying too many expected niggles

aus rugby has always been more effective with solid base structures In space, getting front foot ball and then getting around the umbrella defence is the issue

Yeah, one of my bugbears is the lack of work off the ball in Aus rugby, a good chase does the isolation, but units working hard to get back provide support makes that chase more risky How many times have you seen 3 or 4 Kiwis spread across the field on kick return? All of a sudden the chase...
