    RWC 2027 Australia

Mum and Little Johnny? Oh ffs let's get a grip. I don't want to see the damage in the pro game as players start coming off with bleeding tag marks. And worse. It's something best left in the past, even if you do so with some love.

A good prop is like fine wine. I'm enjoying watching Nonggorr developing, slowly, consistently, constantly refining. He'll be nudging into Wallaby colours from here. I don't see any really necessity to declare a ceiling, let's see this wine develop.

    Waratahs 2026

I'll never forget the Honey Badger's response to a side line question in warm up "what's the game plan?". Clearly not expecting an honest response but the Badge didn't hesitate: "Up the gut's and into 'em. Spin it wide, score in the corner." There is wisdom there that years later Australian...

    Queensland Reds 2026

I'm happy to accept there are fans with consideration who disagree with me. Doesn't change my position but probably not something to dive in deep in 2025.

Brad's response to this issue was "probably one of the better handled sports and drug incidents that comes to mind"? imvho the Brumby response was exemplary. As was Slipper's response to the opportunity given. For me however, it remains the largest stain on Thorn's time at the Reds.

No he isn't. Right now he is the Reds coach. All that can come, I may even join your disparagement on the WB coach at that time, but I'll more likely be here talking about the Reds coach. Whoever that might be.

No. No. No. Try the WBs thread. Leave some minimal room for sanity for Reds fans on this thread.

Can we fuck off the non Reds discussion? Have your fun elsewhere. Leave the Reds thread for the Reds.

Well let's hope that does not happen! Thank you, Tomikin.

Well this makes a long ramble less than pointless.

Slim, I find myself getting increasingly quiet. I can only agree with you over the declining quality of discussion here.

Now I'm no rugby genius, but doesn't this suggest something?

Ireland v Wallabies, Saturday 15/11 (Sunday morning Aus time)

I wouldn't suggest that our salaries are over the top. The issue is about how much income we generate. Pfitzy mentioned earlier about needing a broader base in order to achieve a higher peak. That works for me. Super Rugby has not achieved what is required and this "top down" approach is always...

And it get's worse from here. The 5 -> 4 sugar-hit is settling back to salary cap and budget restraints. Let's not rinse and repeat.
